Christmas 2008

Here are some pics of our first Christmas in Texas. The big presents were an American Girl doll for Meg and a Nintendo DS for Jenna. The weather was great and we enjoyed a nice walk outside after we opened our gifts.

HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY MEGAN!

Meg turned 7 years old last Friday, November 14th. Her big birthday surprise was Gram and Grampa flying in to visit. She was so excited! Here are a few pics from her big day............

Megan and Jenna got the most fabulous face paintings at Gattitown (a more pricey Chuck E. Cheese type of place), the restaurant Meg chose for her birthday dinner.

Meg with some of her presents. She got three new Webkinz, a new Barbie doll (can you ever have enough?), a new CD player with some CDs, some My Little Pony DVDs, gift cards, money, etc.................... Thanks to everyone that sent a card and/or gift. Meg appreciated it very much!

Dallas Arboretum

Another fun field trip this month was to the Dallas Arboretum. It is such a beautiful place. Unfortunately, we were only there for a short time before it started to downpour. Here are a few photos I took before the rain arrived.

This is one of my favorites.....Meg in the pumpkin patch. It might be hard to tell in the photo, but there were millions of beautiful butterflies everywhere. Sooooo pretty.
