We took Jax to the BYU Football game vs. Airforce on Saturday and he loved it! (Not that there was any doubt... with Eli and I as his parents, there was little room for error in this area!). It was a little chilly and there was some rain, so we had to leave at the beginning of the 4th quarter. But Jax just did great the whole time! He pretty much slept through it all. The cannons didn't bother him, and I think he really liked the vibrations that came from everyone stomping their feet on the metal stands during kick-offs and big plays. I took Jax down to the field with me at half time and had a great time seeing a bunch of old friends! I even got to see Ben and TeriAnn Lewis who were in town from San Diego for the weekend. Their little one is so cute... but boy is he big! He sure takes after his dad, being 9 months and already 30 pounds! It is always fun to see old friends, and reunite with old cheer buddies.
After the game we went up to Lehi for the weekend to spend time with Mike and Candice Nielson. We got some way cute pictures of Jax while we were there... it is always so nice to go up there and be able to unwind.
We feel so blessed to have so many great friends that we have made over the year. It will make it so hard when the time comes to move out of Provo! Still, it seems that we will have a little while before we have to cross that bridge, so we will just enjoy the time that we have.
