Steve got him a Muzzleloader since Jordan can hunt this year.

Tonight Jordan had his Eagle Court of Honor. We are so proud of him. From the beginning we had said that we will support him, but we won't get it for him. He did such a great job working so hard to get it. It was a great evening. It's nice that it's all over. (And a big yipee that we don't have any more boys!)

The beginning of the line at Thanksgiving Point

We were lucky to have some shade in line.

I can't believe that I was able to go see Stephenie Meyer. Of course, she is the talented author of the Twilight series as well as her new book, The Host.  She was very delightful. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and friendly she is. Very humble as well for someone with so much success. There were a couple hundred people in line before us, but when we got in, my friend who hooked us up so well with tickets also had great seats for us. (Six rows back right in the center.) Not too bad considering there were 1,000 people there.

Stephenie spoke for 20 minutes and then did book signings. It took us an hour and a half being in just the sixth row to get ours signed. Stephenie was there until 12:30am signing. Glad we had good seats. I went with my sister-in-law, Kim, who I have to thank for taking these great pictures and for going with me. It was a blast! I would not be in awe meeting a famous celebrity as I am when I meet great authors.

With a moo moo here and a moo moo there...

A teacher at Steve's school has a horse that is expecting any second now. I guess they can actually be up to three months overdue. (No thanks!) We went down to see if the little tike had come out yet. No such luck, but we did see and smell horses and cows. Hopefully a delivery will happen soon, for the horse's sake.
