In February, my Aunt Connie had surgery on her neck. A few days later, she had a blood clot move to her lungs and she went into cardiac arrest. She was flown to U of U Hospital in Salt Lake City. After a few days of waiting to see any improvements, she was declared brain dead. Love you and miss you Connie.
In March, Brian took Autumn out of school to go skiing. They were having a great day. Brian followed Autumn off a jump and ended up landing wrong, hurting his good knee. W got him into the doctor and found that he had torn his meniscus. We later found out he had also torn his ACL and was going to need surgery to replace it.
In May, Autumn was training for the Wellsville mile at school. She is a great little runner and is always trying to get a good time. I guess her shoe came untied while running and she ended up stepping on it and landed on her hands. She quickly hopped back up and continued to run, however she never tied her shoe lace and stepped on it again falling once again on her hands. I happened before lunch but she continued the day at school and even went to orchestra after school with her wrist hurting. By the time she walked home, it was almost time to go to Brooklyn's soccer game. I wrapped her hand to see if it helped make it feel batter and we went to the game. After, we decided to take her to instacare. She fractured one of the bones and broke the other bone up into her growth plate. I guess we will be having that checked later this year to make sure everything is okay with it.
My Grandpa Page was finally able to have his shoulder operated on. His blood levels have been really bad with his leukemia, but they were able to put him on new medicine that has helped make it possible for him to have his shoulder replaced. He is doing well.
