One!

I can't believe it! It's already here! There is no way I'm going to have time to write tomorrow, so this will be my last post as Amber Vernon. I'm working on making a McFall blog, but I'll let you know when that actually happens.

1. I am thankful for, excited for, everything... I'm going to be Kyle's wife!!!!!!

I have so much to do and so little time. We'll see how much really gets done. And whatever doesn't, well, then it will be okay anyway. :) I am happy, however, that I don't have to work 12 hour days anymore. Man was not meant to work 40 hours in 3.5 days. (Or at least Amber wasn't.)
Well, happy day everyone! I'm getting married!!!!!! :)!!!!!!!!!!!

Two!!

I love that I am getting even more excited but there are fewer exclaimation points. :)
To start, I want to state that I know that some may think that my countdown is one day fast. I justify this in two ways. I have always counted down to things by not including the day that I am in and the day the event is to take place. So in that aspect I am right on it. :) Point two: If you would like it to be "the traditional way" it still works because the wedding celebrations will begin on Thursday night with a family dinner. So no matter how you look at it, I'm right. Haha! You know you love me!

1. I only have to go through one more too long work day and one too short one. I have actually been able to get a lot done and I don't think I will be leaving everyone completely stranded during my absence. I have written schedules, detailed instructions, assigned responsiblities, all that I can think of. I hope that there are no major disasters while I am gone. (Speaking of work. They are so sneaky, they threw me a shower today joint with another lady that is going to have a baby by the end of the month. She knew about a shower for me and I knew about a shower for her. So sneaky! It was sweet of them.)

2. Starting Thursday, I get to spend the vast majority of my time with Kyle for over a week and a half. I'm sure he will get sick of me, but I'm so excited. We've NEVER had that. I'm so excited that we are actually going to be able to see eachother more than just the weekends from now on. I mean, isn't that what I've always wanted, to be able to spend my time with someone I love with all my heart?! I'm so excited about it all! I'm not going to discount the challenge it has been to only see eachother on the weekends and maybe for lunch or dinner once or twice in the week. I think it has helped me to know that I am not dependent or obsessed with him, I am still me. That is good, because that is not how I always have been in relationships. I am happy to be able to have a best friend that I love with all my heart and that I enjoy all our time together, and that we have similar interests and now we get to pursue those interests together for the rest of our lives and.... Life is good! (I would continue but I'm rambling and I've got to get going.)

Yay! You guys! Only two more days!!!

Three!!!

Sorry that I'm later than usual. It was a long day...

1. I'm excited that I only have to go through three more days of craziness before the wedding. My car broke down again, 12 hour work days, giving in and buying a small pick/topper type thing for the cake to appease the cake lady (she was so relieved when I brought it over and it really will look cute).

2. I'm excited that I only have three more days and then I can walk hand in hand with Kyle into the temple to become his wife!

3. I'm thankful to everyone who takes the time to read my now daily updates and still comes back for more. :) I'm not the most creative writer, but I do have fun writing memories and thoughts down. You guys! I'm getting married this week!!! Crazy!!!

Four!!!!

Four! I have to go through four more days until my wedding day! I'm so excited!!

1. Today was my last day in the Granite 12th ward. I remember when we first moved into the ward, I was so sad to have moved out of the last ward I had been in. I was determined that I would not love this ward as much as I had the last one. I was very wrong. My ward is my family. There are so many young women's leaders that I still cherish in my life. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. There are so many people in the ward who have come up to us multiple times asking how they can help us with the wedding. I will truly miss the ward. I am thankful to have grown up in a ward that has helped me to grow into the person I am today and prepare me for such a big step in my life.

2. Along with the ward... I will miss being in a ward that understands that "I am Amber and I cry." It is always interesting being in new settings and then I start to cry for no other reason than that's just how I am, and the people around me don't know how to respond. Today, Dad was teaching the combined fifth Sunday lesson and started talking about something that made him tear up, then I did as well. No one even flinched, because that's just how life is. I hope that it won't take too long for my new ward to adjust to the fact that I just cry and there is nothing to really worry about. :)

3. I'm excited to see our cute little nieces and nephews in their fun wedding outfits on Friday. I'm so blessed to have two of the most adorable nieces in the world! I love them so much. I'm excited to be gaining two more beautiful nieces and a nephew, who I already love. I am excited to get to watch them all grow up and to celebrate life with all of them.

4. I'm excited that things are starting to come together and the list is getting shorter. The table runners have been sewn and are layed out on the table so they don't get wrinkled. My last minute shopping list has been written. There is not much time left to do it all. In my mom's mind that is stressful, in mine it's great! :)

Love you all! :) Happy Sunday!

Five!!!!! Kyle's version

So, we're going to mix things up a little for the five more days countdown. Kyle is going to give his five. :)

1. I am so happy to get to marry the most beautiful girl in the world. She has made my life so great and wonderful. I wake up with a smile every morning knowing that i will be able to text her morning beautiful.

2. I am so happy that Amber is always thinking of me. She is so nice to always bring me taco bell while i am working at nights. It is my favorite when i get to have the number one thing i love, Amber, and also have taco bell the fastfood i love the most, all in the same night.

3. Three more times working nights. the people at deseret book warehouse are great but to be able to spend my nights with Amber is the happiest thing anyone could offer me. even if it means i will have to fight afternoon traffic again.

4. I am so happy to be able to get married 4 ever with amber.

5. Five months has been so long and i am so glad that it is finally coming to a end. i wish it would have come sooner.

Other stuff: (Amber again)
Last night I got to go to the Draper Temple Celebration with my parents. It was so much fun! There was truly a spirit of celebration as we welcome this new holy temple so close to home. President Monson was there and gave a few words before they started the performance. He had President Eyring stand up and had everyone sing happy birthday to him. It was so sweet. One of my favorite parts of the performance is when they did a military tribute. They sang parts of the anthems to each branch of the military and had those in the audience who had served in the respective branches stand up. It was so cool how strong the Spirit was during this part. I have such a respect and grattitude for those who have given their time and efforts to protect and defend our country. After having served my mission around so many Marines I have a greater love for the sacrifices that they really make in our behalf. It was also fun to see the pictures of the different General Authorities that served in the military. There was no question who it was when they showed the younger picture of Elder Perry. He has the same great smile! I was so glad that I had the chance to go to the celebration. I am so happy that the Draper Temple has been built so near by and that I get to be married there in five days! Hooray!
We drove up to the cabin this morning! I was so excited to be up there, even if it was only for part of the day. It is so beautiful up there! It was fun to show Kyle all the beauties and reasons I love the cabin so much. He probably thought I was so cheesy about it all, but that's just how I am. I really do love the cabin and it is such a big part of my love of the summertime. I'm excited to get back up there several more times this summer/fall.
Well, I'm done. :) Happy five days more!!! :)

Six!!!!!!

1. I get to marry Kyle a week from today! Yay!

2. I don't have to worry about wedding plans after the wedding. I mean, I really don't care if there's flowers or a topper on top of the cake. It's my cake so shouldn't you just believe that I know what I want and I don't care if you don't think it will look "complete?" Haha. I guess I'm just not the typical bride, and I'm not too concerned with many of the traditions that so many people feel are so important. What is most important to me is that I will be married to Kyle. That day will be fun and I will be happy, that's what matters most.

3. I am thankful to be marrying someone who has come to know me so well. I didn't have a car yesterday, and he had planned to bring me lunch since he knows I always forget to pack one for myself. If not for him, I may have starved yesterday. :) lol

4. I am excited to have some time away from work. I have been so worn out lately, so it will be nice to take a week away in order to recoup. Too bad I have to work long days at the beginning of next week. It will be fun though!

5. I am so grateful to have a Heavenly Father that loves me and is watching out for me. Things have run so smoothly as we have worked to plan our wedding and the other details as we start our marriage. We needed a car- we found one really quickly. We needed a place live- we found on right away. I wanted to do our guest book with a certain program, and my wonderful cousin called me (not know that's exactly what I wanted) and offered to help me be able to do that. Thanks to everyone who has shown us so much love and support. We really do love you all!

6. I am excited that I will get to keep Kyle for eternity! :)

This time next week will be our wedding day! Weird! Crazy! It is so permanent, the most permanent thing I've ever done. I'm so excited, though, that it is so permanent! That's what makes it even better!
P.S. Thanks for all your guys' comments, they are fun and add to my own excitement!
