My Goofy Kids!

Watching Daddy leave for work in the rain one morning. They wanted to play in the rain but it was too cold.

Drew was in heaven when I let him eat some oreos one morning. He gets rewarded if he doesn't pee in his pull up at night. It is a hit and miss with him.
I made yams with marshmallows on top one night for dinner, and Drew apparently wanted more after dinner. He kept dipping the big spoon in the dish for more.

Kylee loves this toy! She was so excited when she figured out how to make it spin.
She also has a fetish for my shoes. She found the slippers to be the easiest in getting on.

My sandals are her favorite.

Finally got her to pose, but see the sandal close by. I was trying to get her to pose with it on but she immediately stopped walking in them when I got the camera out. Also, she has learned to say to cheese when taking a picture. It is too cute!

Drew at his Valentine party with his class. This was the last class for the session. He starts his next class next week and I am so excited to have an hour and a half break to get errands done every Thursday. His class has been 45 min. but that is never enough time to run one errand.

I know this isn't about the kids but I had to throw it in. These are the beautiful flowers Ryan gave me for Valentine's Day. We don't do much for Valentine's Day because it is an over rated occasion...you should always show your loved one you love them, but he always gets me flowers. I kept hinting that Trader Joe's has cheap, pretty flowers and he got the hint. These are my favorite flowers! Ryan gets me flowers and I make him Mudd Pie every year. I didn't have energy at Christmas time to make my goodies so I decided to make cookies for Valentine's Day to make up for my lack of baking in December. Drew had fun helping and they turned out great. Next up for us is Disneyland in 2 1/2 weeks. That should be an interesting trip.

Stay Away from the Nasty Cold!!

My title says it all. There is a nasty cold going around that lasts for approximately 2 weeks and is absolutely horrible. It is just like any other cold, except you add the aches and the fever and in some cases croop. Drew's cold went straight to croop thanks to his neighbor friend. Gotta love the way toddler germs get passed around so quickly. Thank goodness I caught it right away and started breathing treatments. I think Drew's immune system finally decided to do its job and his croop only lasted 3 days. Kylee on the other had, got the cold the same time Drew got croop and turned to croop as Drew was getting over it. Thank goodness Drew's cold only lasted a week, but I have a feeling Kylee's will last the whole 2 weeks. In a way it is nice when your kids are sick because they are more cuddly but I can't stand all the whining and can't get anything done around the house because I have a 16 month old who won't let me put her down. Crossing my fingers we can all be healthy ASAP so I can get some sleep once again!
