September 20

Highlights from the week

- it was homecoming week for Lydia, they had dress op days for school, she dressed up every day, the only one I took a picture of was Adam Sandler day

- Lydia had a race on Saturday, it was a fun race, her back hurt but not as bad as last time, but she didn’t get the time that she wanted 

- Lydia went to the dance, she didn’t know most of the people in her group, but she had a really good time. On Wednesday they got together and made flowers for each other. Then some of them hung out Friday night at the football game. Saturday they did a fun scavenger hunt, then the girls got ready here, then they had dinner at one of the boys houses, then they took pictures and went to the dance, then a movie after. It was a long day, but I think she had a good time

- Kyles truck and lots of crazy plumbing jobs 

-we went to my cousins house last weekend and Marc got to drink out of this fun cup

-Carl and Hailey did some camping and hiking this weekend

- the girls doing some studying together -

September 14

 September has been a good month so far, we are loving  the cooler weather

Highlights

- the twins got together with some friends for ice cream

-Lydia got asked to homecoming

- Lydia went line dancing with some friends this weekend

-Hailey and Carl went camping

- we worked on this fun fall puzzle in the evenings 

- Nicole and Katie found a swing by the river on their walk 

- Marc, Lydia and I had dinner with my cousins and aunt and uncle on Sunday, it was fun to see family 

September 6

Here are some highlights from the last couple of weeks

-Marc and I went down to the river Friday night after dinner, it was fun walking around

 

- Lydia went to the football game with friends from the x country team, the dress up theme was frat boy, she had a lot of fun

- Lydia did a race, unfortunately her back was hurting pretty bad, she finished but was in a lot of pain

- the twins friend Ariel got back from her mission, they have had fun hanging out with her

- the twins got a new roommate, the 4 of them went for a hike

-Hailey and Carl spent a week in Mexico before school started, it sounds like they had a really good time

-we had my cousin and her family over for dessert and to visit, it was fun to see her, she lives about 20 minutes from us

-Katie started school last week, she wasn’t feeling great the first couple of days, but is feeling better now, she is a little unsure if she is going to like her classes, hopefully they get better. She also picked up another part time job, she will be cleaning a restaurant in one of the buildings 

Nicole has been in school for a few weeks now, she is figuring it out, she says it is the hardest school she has ever done

-Kyle added some new lights to his truck

- we went apple picking, we miss Yakima apples, they are much more expensive here

-we went for a little hike this weekend
