Eyes Are Beginning To Open

One Week and 2 Days Old!

This little girl is my favorite. She is smallest of the 4,  a little bit of a bully and the first to have her eyes open. 

This is another one of my favorite girls. This morning she found out she made Varsity Cheer Captain! She has been so nervous about making Captain for her Senior year and hasn't slept in a week worrying about it. She gave a great speech to her squad and they just love her.  I am so proud of her and I love that she is so dedicated. She is a great example of hard work, compassion and a positive attitude!  I will miss her this week while she is at cheer camp! I know she is going to have a blast! I just need to try not to have too much anxiety thinking about how many times she will be thrown in the air this week! 

A Fresh Start!

I have all kinds of excuses for staying away so long, but I guess the biggest one is the fact that my camera broke. Since December the only pictures I have been able to take have been from Scott's iphone or from borrowed cameras. Pretty sad. Well,  yesterday I broke down and bought myself a little camera. I am going to try to stay back on the blogging wagon.

So, a fresh start....

in more ways than one. Yesterday I completed a 10 day cleanse. It was a true test of will power and one of the hardest things I have ever done. I feel amazing and super energized. I am loving the start of summer and the warm weather has definitely got me motivated.  I have been staying pretty busy with cake pop orders, baby sitting, working in my garden and being the family taxi cab. 

Burgandy is deep in the middle of Cheer hell week. Today she was nominated again for Varsity Cheer Captain. The squad votes on Monday. She is way nervous.

Senja is loving her summer getting tan, nonstop sleep overs, the water park and sleeping in till 1:00. 

Scott just finished up a big convention and has a pretty easy work schedule for the next few weeks.

Our cat Athena had 4 kittens last Sunday!

So so cute!

October and November Update

I really need to stay on top of blogging current events. Here is a bit of some old news around our house....

Senja and I got to meet the Cake Pop Queen, Bakerella! This picture even ended up on her blog!

Powder Puff Game! Burgandy dislocated her finger while her boyfriend cheered her on.

We had a great Halloween.

Senja dressed as Mother Nature.  This was the first year Burgandy didn't dress up. So Sad.

Burgandy coached her 6th grade squad and they took 2nd place at a cheer competition! Woo Hoo!

Burgandy found out she was getting her braces off at this visit and she broke into tears immediately. It was so cute to see her so excited.

Two years of suffering and $4200 = A gorgeous smile! 

We got a new kitty. Her name is Athena. We love her!

We had a great Thanksgiving with super yummy food, traditional matching pjs and crazy black Friday.

Senja and Shakespeare

Meet Puck!

My little Thespian Senja. She made the Shakespeare competition team twice. She switched Jr. Highs and had to try out again and got the part as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream.  They competed down in Cedar City at the Shakespeare Festival.  I was so sad I wasn't able to go with her but, she had a blast.  They stayed two nights and her ensemble cast took 6th place out of 16 schools. Not bad for a first year school.  Her friends also took 1st place for a monologue and a duos performance. I love that she has such a passion for the stage and I can't wait to see where it brings her!

Time For Caramel Apples

Oh, I love the fall! It means it is time for caramel apples! I tried a new recipe this year and I really liked it. The caramel has almost like a toffee flavor. Super Yummy!
