Christmas 2008

Santa Claus came to my house one night. He gave me a bag of treats with really good candy. My friend Addison came over to see him too. I told Santa I would like a bike, a Princess watch, and a Princess Wii game.

Grandma Barb & Coach got me and all my cousins Chase Daniel jerseys. Aren't we cute!! Except Mom's jersey is a little tight (her belly is getting big).

I got an I Spy BINGO game, so Grandma Barb & Grandma Letha are helping me and my cousins play. I love my I Spy games!

Santa brought me a brand new bike, I am trying to learn how to ride it without the training wheels. It has a brake handle and a bell and a little backpack to hold my things.

I got my very own cupcake maker for Christmas, so Dad and I decided to try it out one afternoon. It doesn't work very well with the average cupcake size... I guess next time we'll try to use the packet that comes in the box that make a single cupcake in the microwave.

Gymnastics Bus

Every week the gymnastics bus visits Debbie's house. We get to go spend some time with Jeff & Cathy, they help me do lots of different gymnastics stuff. Dad got to come to one of my lessons, he took some pictures of us.

5th Birthday Party

My 5th birthday party was lots of fun! My cake had colorful butterflies and flowers on it, since Mom couldn't find a Barbie Island Princess birthday cake. I got a lion cub animal that comes to life and lots of princess dolls. It was a great birthday!! Here are some pictures from my birthday party.

October 2008

Sorry it's been a while since we have posted any pictures. But my Mom has big news - a new baby is on the way! I'm going to be a big sister in May!!! At first I wasn't excited because I like being an only child but we have talked and I'm going to be a helper with the new baby. So here are some pictures from October -

You can't see the rainbow very well behind me, but it was very bright. You can only see it on the clouds a little bit. There was actually two rainbows that day!
















I like to get my picture with the Golden Girls before the football game. Maybe someday I could be a Golden Girl???





























I had a very nice Halloween, I was a Princess Bride. I had a veil, ring, and a bouquet. We got lots of candy and I even made it home in time to give candy out to trick-or-treaters.

MU Tailgating

So lately our weekends have been full of MU football games! We like to go to the game early and hang out with friends.











Me and my friend Addison don't get enough time together during the week so we met up before the game.

San Diego 2008

This year we went back to San Diego for a week (thanks to Dad's GIS conference)! Katey went too!





This is me & Dad on the airplane. I like to fly.










My favorite stop was Legoland - it was awesome!! Everything was made out of legos! I even got my drivers license and I won a race. All the practice on our Wii Mario Kart game has paid off!









One night we visited Coronado Island, we went swimming at the beach, Mom wouldn't get in the ocean. We went to La Jolla Beach they always have sea lions hanging around - it is neat. Mom and Katey are looking at the ocean.



















We went on a tour of the San Diego Bay, I didn't not enjoy it at all but my Mom and Dad thought the ships and stuff were neat. This is when I was starting to get upset about the whole thing but not crying yet...


then we got to see sea lions, that was the only cool time of the whole tour.














The San Diego Wild Animal Park was cool. There were lots of wild animals - including a white tiger but Mom must have had the camera because we didn't get a picture.



















We went to the zoo, again. I enjoy the reptile building the most (snakes) but Mom wouldn't let us hang out all day there. So here is what else we saw.

Go Royals!!

This was an exciting night at Kaufman Stadium! Me & Katey made it on the JUMBO screen 2 times!! So my Mom took a picture of us on the screen pointing at ourselves on the screen. It was an awesome night & the Royals won with an inside the park home-run!

Summer Fun

This is one of my biggest accomplishments this summer - I have learned how to swing all by myself. That means no one has to push me anymore - yea!!! I got a new swingset and have had a lot of time to practice.











My friends invited me to a Luau, it was lots of fun.

















This is my sprinkler system, it is a huge beach ball that Dad fills up with air and hooks the garden hose to then I get to play in the water. Fun, fun!!

Big Truck Night

This is me in the flight for life helicopter - MIZZOU's! There was Tigers on the seats and we even saw it fly over our house on it's way to my school. It has a tiger paw on the bottom. So cool...















I got to explore inside of the helicopter too, this bed is for people who are hurt really bad, I hope that I never have to take a ride in it.















The Boone Electric man needed my help, there was a really tall crane on this truck too.

March 2008

Me and Grandpa Bill and Mom went to see Grandma Blackford. She has lots of chickens and even two peacocks! We took bread and got to feed the chickens. Grandma Blackford even let me carry this chicken around for a while... I really think it liked me.












Me and Dad worked really hard to make Easter eggs that were really colorful this year. We found the secret (that is in the directions), use vinegar! And even red vinegar works, if that's all you have.

During spring break we went to the mall and met my friend Jocelyn for a playdate. I went to Jocelyn's birthday party in February and spent the night! It was the first time I spent the night with a friend... my Mom kept calling to check on me?

Disney on Ice - Princess Wishes

Me and Mom went to Kansas City to watch Disney Princess on Ice with Amanda and Lilly. It was soooo cool. I seen all the princesses and their princes and there was a big dragon with fire and Mickey Mouse and Minnie were there. I loved the show!










My Mom doesn't work our camera very well, so this is about the only decent picture we have... it is some of the dwarfs (not even a princess). She got a few videos on the camera too.

MU vs KU Women's basketball game

We met our friends from Kansas at the basketball game. Mom and Dad forgot to tell me they are KU fans. I thought we didn't like the Jayhawks???

But I am always up for a picture with my best friend - Truman!

Cotton Bowl - Dallas, TX

My Mom & Dad went to Dallas for four days, I stayed with Mimi & Pops.


They went to a Tigers practice at the Cowboys stadium on Sunday morning before the game. Coach introduced Mom to Chase Daniel and told him that she loved him! She was really embarrassed. But she is so proud of this picture???



This is the gang that Mom & Dad drove nearly 20 hours in a mini-van with to Dallas and back. Ryan, Jay, Jeff & Greg.

I guess there was a Cotton Bowl parade that Mom & Dad went to, I am sure that I would have loved it! Truman, the cheerleaders, and the Tiger band was there.
