Happy Birthday!

June 27th marks a special day. It is Josh’s birthday. I’m not supposed to tell anyone that it is his birthday, but does blogging count? I do want to wish my Love a Happy Birthday, and I want to let him know how much I love him.

Josh, you are my everything! You are my love, my best friend, a wonderful father to our children, and my partner in crime. Thank you for working so hard for our family and country.

Thank you for living up to high beliefs and standards and helping me to do good. Thank you for listening, pretending to listen, helping me laugh when I need to, helping me be serious when I need to be, ignoring when I am "silly" or "grouchy" when I don’t want it any other way. Thank you for kissing me when I need it or when I don’t expect it. Thank you for calling me from work to sing to me or tell me that you love me. Thank you for always saying “I will” when I tell you to be safe as you leave the house for work. Thank you for helping out around the house…especially the dishes sometimes cause I abhor doing them.

Thank you for being a great handyman and fixing things around the house. Thank you for being perfect for me even when I get frustrated.

Thank you for getting Leif to sleep by just holding him.

Thank you for having tea parties with Ella and letting her play dress up with you. Thank you for always giving cookies when mom says no (Ella’s appreciation).
