Oh Happy Day!!
At exactly 11:39 am on this day last year, my little Eli made his first appearance into the world. It's truly amazing how quick time flies. I can vividly remember seeing him for the first time and thinking "wow, what a blessing I've just been given." However,I have to admit the next words that come out. "And wow! He's a moose!" He was the sweetest, most beautiful moose I had ever seen!! I can also remember the overwhelming sense of love I was feeling. There were so many family and friends awaiting his arrival alongside Jon and me. Life just couldn't have been any better at that moment in time.
Fast forward to October 23, 2010. Here are some of the things little Eli has accomplished...
smiling
laughing
clapping
sleeping 10-11 hours a night!
getting his first tooth at 7 mos, now he has 8!!
feeding himself, holding his own bottle
drinking from a sippy cup
saying "ma ma", "da da", "go go", "mo mo" (for more)
roaring like a lion
giving eskimo kisses and hugging
playing with rocks in our landscape
taking rides in his stroller
dancing
pretty much walking-little wobbly,but walking nonetheless
My little cub is growing way too fast!!
"This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

First family vacation!!
Last week, we went to Destin for our very first family vacation! It was alot of fun, but ridiculously HOT! We took Eli on the beach and let him play in the sand, but I'm not quite sure if he really liked it. I think, once again, it was way too hot and bright. I think we will have better luck next year!!!

Such a big boy!!!
Well, Eli is now almost 9 mos old!! He's weighing in at 23 lbs now and has two pearly whites!!! Here are some pics of Eli over the past few months!! There are quite a few so be prepared!!!
