Hey, I'm adding my own two bits to my mom's blog page because I love blogs and she won't let me have my own yet. I like Indiana Jones. I have two pet rats. My favorite football team is the Patriots. Okay so I said Tuesday was cold- today it is -23 according to my thermometer but with the wind chill the weather report says it feels like -31 to -40. The kids still went to school and Ana still had patrol (but not for very long). Patrol is the 5th and 6th graders get to be the cross guards at the school. Wow! I did it. My first blog. This morning it was -21 outside without the windchill. We still went outside and ran errands, but not for very long. I just want everyone who is somewhere else to think about that when you step outside. I'm going to guess that it will be cold like this until February and then we will be excited when it's above zero. Maybe I'll have to figure out how to add a link to our local weather station. Here's a cute thing for the day: When Henry grows up he wants to be Santa Claus. He was practicing saying "HoHoHo Merry Christmas!" before his nap. Henry was a gnome for Halloween and he thinks Santa is a giant garden gnome. William thinks Santa is our home teacher and that's how he knows if you've been good or bad. Our home teacher dressed like Santa for the church Christmas party and William could tell it was him. At first we did the whole "well, he's one of Santa's helpers," but then we realized that William is sure that our home teacher is Santa. It only helped when our home teacher showed up for his last visit dressed as a wiseman and said he "comes bearing gifts from afar." I hope you are keeping warm.
