The biggest adjustment to having two kids was finding time for them and BJ each individually. I am finally starting to get the hang of it and enjoy every minute I get with my sweet little family. Could life get any better?! :D

I feel so blessed to have Kaylee as a daughter. She is so smart and such a big helper. She loves to put the wet clothes from the washer into the dryer and then push the button to start it. She also really enjoys putting the silverware away from the dishwasher and gets mad if we don't let her when the dishes are dirty.



Kaylee has been doing really good with Connor and loves to help get diapers, wipes and the Binky for him whenever I ask. She is still learning how to be soft but really does a pretty good job. If she is really upset and wanting my attention she will try to hit her little brother, but quickly gives him a kiss and says "sawwee" as she pats his face.

I just love Kaylee so much and feel blessed to have her in our family. I cant believe how fast she is growing and how smart she is. I have been very impressed with how much she has helped me out. She is such a great big sister!

While BJ's mom Sherryl was here visiting from Oklahoma, she offered to watch the kids while BJ and I went on a date or did whatever we wanted for an hour or two. I was sooo excited and quickly started thinking about what BJ and I could do together without kids. Honestly the first thing I thought of was going to the store. They were having a clothes tent sale outside of Smiths that I wanted to look through but knew it would be almost impossible for me to take Kaylee and Connor by myself, so I figured it would be fun to take BJ with. But then I realized that this is not going to happen very often for awhile so I should think of something we cant normally do or things that are really difficult with our two kids that is also somewhat close by so I can hurry home to feed Connor when he is ready. The next thing I thought of was going on the scooter together- definitely cant take two young kids out on the scooter. So we decided to make it even better that we would take the scooter to Bountiful Lake and go FISHING!!






We hopped in the car and ran to Walmart to get worms and food from Wendy's and then switched over to the scooter to go to the Lake. We had so much fun! We didn't catch anything but just had fun talking and relaxing together.



When we got back home Kaylee was throwing a fit while BJ's brother JC was trying to get her in her pajamas and Connor was crying off an on because he was hungry. Kaylee had taken a really short nap that day so she was super tired. I felt bad that the kids were hard but very very grateful at the same time that I got to go on a date with BJ where I wasn't worrying and just got to relax. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU JC and Sherryl for watching the kids.

Every morning when I bring Kaylee downstairs she immediately searches for Connor. If he isn't easy to see when she first gets downstairs she starts pulling up blankets searching for him. It is so cute. Sometimes Connor and I will go get Kaylee together and the first thing Kaylee does is give Connor boy a big kiss. She just cant wait till he can crawl and play with her.
Here is a picture of the new and improved Tenney family. Yes having two young kids is a lot of work. There is a lot of sleepless nights and going out of the home is challenging. But the rewards of these two amazing children of God is beyond worth it! Kaylee is getting cuter and cuter everyday as is Connor. They both just radiate love and warmth. BJ and I both feel soo blessed to have one another and Kaylee and Connor. Thank you to all the family and friends that have come to visit and bring us dinner. We can't tell you enough how much we appreciated it!!
