2 DAYS UNTIL LOST!!!!

We are so excited and counting down the days until the season finale of our favorite show. It is kind of bittersweet, because what will keep us up so late on Thursday nights after it is over. The brilliant writers always leave us with a cliffhanger and 5-6 months to hypothesise what will happen next. Brandon and I always talk about what will happen next, and he is good about remembering characters and events from the past...then I rehash the episode again with my sister Shae (who also has a great memory, and can piece events together very well). I always have questions....and love that aspect of the show. Feel free to answer any of mine:

Why did they choose to save baby Aaron? Will he be special at all because he was born on the island? (I love that Jack just found out that Claire is his half sister)

Is Jack's dad really dead?

Who's funeral was Jack at during last years episode?

Is Claire really dead?

Why doesn't the old Dharma leader (the one who came to young John Locke) ever age?

***Can't wait until Thurs. Bust out the popcorn, candy and soda!!

On the move

My baby is crawling! It is kind of bittersweet. Before he could crawl he would get on all fours and lift himself up on his toes. He even figured our how to go from his knees to a sit position, yet could not crawl. Finally, at my moms house, he took his first few arm-leg-arm movements. He was rather clumsy, but has gotten so much faster in just 3 days. I think that he does all his milestones at my mom's house. While we were at her house he first smiled, first laughed, first went to a sit position, and now first crawled. Crazy!! Wow, he is growing up so fast.

Cake of a weekend!

It just smells, looks and feels like summer! I love it. The heat doesn't get to me, I have really enjoyed it. Brandon and I had a great, relaxing weekend. When these utopian moments happen, it is really refreshing. We were able to run all our errands in the morning, then spend some time at the beach where Seth played with the sand. Brandon boogie boarded for a while. Later on I went swimming and then we played games that night with some friends. Did I mention that Seth has been SOOOOOOOOOO good?? He did fabulous at Disneyland on Friday despite a lack of naps. Same thing on Sat. with our beach trip. Best of all, he actually sat through all 3 meetings of church and I didn't have to go out at all. That was the icing on the cake of a weekend.

HELLO WORLD!!!

My boy has the craziest hair! I love it. Seth is so funny when he wakes up. I can always picture him saying: "Hello world"

We just went to my hometown's fair to watch my brother with his pig. I know it may sound very hick, but this is what happens when you come from a small town. He did very well. In fact he won 1st place in showmanship out of about 50 kids. He sold his pig at auction and got a great price. He even advanced to supreme showmanship and got 2nd by only .5 a point. Seth got to watch it all, and even ride a pig:) Good job Rand

Baby Yoga!

My baby is so LA. He is already doing yoga! He cracks me up. I was in the kitchen when I caught him doing this. I quickly snapped a shot before he could see me.

I also got a new high chair. Feeding is so much easier now (and more fun:)

Looks like he can crawl right??? Wrong! He can get completely in the frog position, but won't move his arms:)
He makes the funniest grunts when he is concentrating on something. It is fun to see him in his own little world.

It is kind of sad to be so far away. My dad asked to see a video of Seth swimming in the air so here it is. He is surprisingly mobile. He rolls all over and can spin himself anyway he wants. He scoots backwards, and even gets on his knees and rocks...yet he has not yet figured out how to go forward. I actually kind of like it. I can set him down and he is very content to roll all over the place, but I don't have to worry about him getting into too much trouble:)

Seth gets so excited these days and opens his mouth so wide. It makes me laugh!
Okay, so I cut seth out, but my arm is not long enough. Last weekend was our first weekend together in what seems like forever. Brandon and I had about 2 weeks apart (he was working crazy hours, then a business trip to Florida, then I took a trip to Dixon). On Saturday we went to C&O's and ate our favorite garlic knots. After we were stuffed with carbs, we took a walk on the beach. Seth loves the wind in his face. It is fun to see him look at something, then look at us, then back at the object. I love sharing in his discovery of the world. It is hard to believe all that he has learned in 6 months and see the development of his personality.
