Getting Our Fall Craft On!

Last night while Brian was as the Priesthood session, me and the kids made a fall craft!
They turned out cute and were easy! We already have plans to make a christmas tree.
(Brian better get cutting before Scott wants his saw back) :)

One Week Ago Today...

was the first day of school. I can't believe how fast our summer went, but we are very excited for this day to come. Everyone had a great day and a week into things we are still very busy, but loving it!

Here's to a great school year! (I feel very bitter-sweet this year. It's Erika's last year in jr high and our last year in elementary school . Lets hope this year slows down a little bit!)

EXTREME!.... HAIR MAKEOVER

This is our cute dog Chloe. We have had her for 4 years. She is a great dog and we love her but... she has crazy fur! (ok maybe it's our fault, sometimes we do wait too long to get her groomed, but really!) We have been waiting for it to warm up to groom her. We don't want her to get cold when she is outside, so we waited and waited, and she got hairy and hairy until I could not stand how shaggy she was and how much fur was all over my house, so here is the new Chloe!

Today is Bryson and Brooklyn's 11th birthday! 11 years ago I swore to Brian that I was not going to have them on Mother's Day...but I did. I told Brian that I didn't want to go to church, just lay around in bed and rest. That's what I did, just at the hospital! Having twins has been a experience that I have loved! Sometimes easier than others, but I don't want it any other way! Love you both very much!


Things about Bryson...

Bryson is really into collecting pens. I think that he has about 50. He has a stand on his desk that they stand in. He loves to be outside riding his bike or building the fort on the dirt hills (in the lot behind us) He is a friendly kid and loves having his friends around. He likes to read and loves to draw. He really really likes to eat. I think that he might just eat us out of house and home. He hate to clean his room, make his bed or put laundry away. He is counting down the days to summer.

Things about Brooklyn...

Brooklyn is a very busy girl. She has dance 2 times a week, girl scouts, activity days, friends, friend and did I say friends! She love to dance and is sad that it's winding down. She love school, even homework. She likes to hang out with friends. She loves to read and is very crafty. She is not a big eater, but loves anything with sugar ( makes me crazy!) She is a kind and loving person and likes to make friends. She is a great example to others and is willing (most of the time) to help Bryson with his homework.

At 4:09pm...

it will be Erika's 14th birthday! I can't believe that she is that old. It truly seems like she just turned 1 yesterday! She is a great daughter and me and Brian are blessed daily to have her in our family. She is a peacemaker, build-in babysitter, loves to read and play games (on her DS or Wii mostly), a good student (on the honor roll), a hard worker, willing to help out, my GPS when we go places, a friend and a wonderful big sister to the twins. She is growing up to be a great young women and I can't wait (or maybe I can) to see what wonderful things she will do in her life!

When it rains, it brings... DUCKS?

This is what we saw this morning. If you look closely there is 2 ducks walking through my backyard. They were swimming in the puddles in the field behind us. My kids thought it was funny. Just last night (when it was raining, again) Brian said "I think ducks could swim in our backyard" and then this morning, here they are! what a fun thing to watch this morning. They were out there until the sun came out (like 3 hours) It was fun to watch them. (sorry the picture is bad, it was dark, raining and they were on a mission, walking fast)
