Memorial Day 2008

Eddy and I headed to Moab for Memorial Day with a group from our ward and we had so much fun running the river, hiking, catching lizards and staying up too late around the camp fire. If only I had some pics of Dibby Dibby Dip! We didn't get any mtn. biking in with a pregnant lady and one gimp shouldered man, but Eddy did get dumped in the river in FREEZING cold water and it was pretty funny. We also hit this great petroglyph site on the way home and a sweet ghost town. It was fun to get away from the "weekend work on the house" project and spend some time with our favorite people.

Ketchup

We've had a few fun adventures around here lately and I just wanted to get them in for the record books. Last month a bunch of my girlfriends from High School I've stayed tight with spent the weekend in Eden. Yes, it's beautiful, just as one would picture anyplace named Eden, but the best part of the weekend was the loooong talks (did one ever end and the next begin?), eating terrific food and playing games. The party consisted of Abby, Amy, Trisha, Sara, Stacie, Katy, Ashley, Jen and myself. Thanks Abby for having us all up!

Looking Pregnant

So for all of you out of town-ers wanting to see the progress of little baby Steele, or belly Steele, here I am. I'm 24 weeks along and feeling so much kicking going on it's incredible. I really haven't had a tough pregnancy so far, sleeping is more of a challenge, but I've been blessed to be able to work and play and do most things. I sure do look tired, but nothing a year of sleepless nights with an infant won't cure. I'll look like a zombie by then. Oh yeah, here's Eddy with sympathy belly. This is him with his brace on still out working in the yard. I looked out the window and had to laugh when my husband looks more pregnant than me. All the fat guys at the office have said I've caught what they have, (the big belly syndrome) one guy even said, "yeah and I gave it to her." Not so much. Just to clarify, he didn't give it to me.
