Birthday Girl!

I can't believe that this little girl is 7 already! It seems like just yesterday that I was holding her in the hospital the morning that she was born. Now she is this sweet little girl that we adore so much. Happy Birthday Paige!

Calgary

This August we headed up to Canada for my brothers wedding. Blake couldn't take much time off work so the kids and I loaded up and drove 11 hours to Calgary and picked my mom up at the airport. We then went and met my cousin Kristin and had a great dinner. I haven't seen her since my wedding 8 1/2 years ago so it was awesome to get to see her again and hang out.

Great Friends

When we lived in Kansas we met these great friends! Almost every weekend in our second year we would get together with them and play games. This summer we had Casey's (center) husband come help Blake and so we got to hang with them quite a bit. One of the weekends our other friend Stacey (left) came over from Boise and we went out for frozen yogurt and got to catch up. It was so fun. Thanks Girls!

First Steps!

On Tuesday Eli took his first steps between Blake and I. I can't believe that my baby is getting so big. It is so fun to watch him learn new things!

Driving and daddy

For the 5th of July we went up to Bone (Blake's dad owns some property up there) to ride 4 wheelers and roast marshmallows!

Paige wanted to drive the car on the way in and did an awesome job at it. Blake had to help her on the turns but other than that she steered all on her own.

This is my new favorite pic of Blake and Eli!! I got him a new hat before we went up and looks so stinkin cute in it.

2 of Eli's favorite things to do. Cross his feet and eat a graham cracker. Ever since Eli was born he loves to cross his feet. And i think he is addicted to graham crackers. We go through so many boxes of them because he always wants to eat them!

Turning 1!

I can't believe that it has been a year since this sweet little boy has come into our lives! It has been a crazy but awesome year. There is something about little boys that amazes me. He can make my heart melt with pretty much anything he does.

His new fascination is balls. He will sort through all his toys until he finds one. It is so cute.

He got this gorgeous minkee blanket for his birthday from his grandma Sherri. When I was about 5 months pregnant with Eli I saw someone with a blanket like this and fell in love with this so I asked Sherri to go ask where she bought it from. She said that she would but if it was homemade she wasn't making me one. Well she came back and told me that it was homemade. I looked at her and said "so your gonna make me one huh?" And she said ya I am! Well she finally got it done and gave it to him for his birthday and he loves it. He loves to snuggle into it and when you put it on the floor he dives onto it!

He was so cute with his birthday cake. With our girls we had to help them eat their cake. Not Eli! He dug right in and loved it.

I am so grateful that Eli has joined our family. He is the sweetest, funniest, cutest baby. I took him to his 1 year Dr. checkup yesterday and he was 20lbs 1oz so he was in the 12th percentile and he was 29 and 3/4" long and in the 51 percentile.

Have I mentioned that I Love this Little Boy!!!! Happy Birthday Eli!!!!

To Bone and Back

Last Saturday I ran in a 40 mile relay race. There were 8 people on our team and we each ran 5 miles! This was the first race I have ever ran in and it was hard but so worth it.

This is not your ordinary race either! It is a lot of hills. And mine was pretty much all downhill, and I started running at about 1pm so it was the hottest time of the day.


All I can say is it is over and I did it!




Our team finished 8th in the Womens Open! We were only 20 minutes behind the 1st team, so maybe next year we can win it!

Family time

These last few weeks we have had family in from out of town and so that equals lots of fun family time. The girls absolutely love playing with their cousins.

This is the newest addition to the family. Baby Zachy! They are visiting from Alaska!

This is Blake's cousin's daughter, Kylee. Eli got to play with her at Zachy's blessing luncheon.

Blake's brother and family are here also. They just finished dental school and are moving to Texas. Lauren is 6 weeks younger than Eli and oh so sweet.

New addition to our home!

A lady that Blake home teaches was needing to get rid of a couple guinea pigs and asked if we wanted them. I got a text from Blake asking if we did and I thought there is no way that this text is coming from my husband cause we had always said that we would probably never get a pet. Well it was from him and we did get a pet. Actually we are so crazy we got 2! So we are proud to announce the new additions to our house: Carly (the brown and white one) and Brownie the dark brown one.

Got Sleep!!!!!

The other night we were cleaning out our garage. Rylee had not had a nap that day and said she was tired. I told her to lay on the couch, hoping that she would fall asleep. Well she doesn't like to be by herself and so she came out and layed on the freezer. Pretty soon I looked over and she was out cold. It was so cute!!!!!!
