These two kiddos and I have been having lots of fun

while their mommy is away seeing their daddy.

Playing mom has been fun, but I'm looking forward

to going back to being just the aunt.

I would not even dare attempt to take this two

little monkeys anywhere alone. Other then to

Grandma and Grandpa's house :)

I'm allergic to what?

So early last week, I started to get a sore throat.

The kind that's hurts on the sides, with pain that goes into the ears.

I was pretty confident that I had strep

because I have had it a ton in the past.

After being told that's what I had,

I was put on Amoxicillin.

I have always been put on that.

Never had a problem with it,

let alone any other medication.

When I went to the doc,

I had a mild rash that he said is common with strep.

The next day, I noticed it was a getting a little worse but

didn't worry about it too much,

until the 3rd morning when I woke up to this.....

(this is all over my body!! head to toe. even on the tops of my feet)

Of course I freak out. This looks so awful and itches like crazy!

So I called the doctor, and he told me to quit taking the Amoxicillin

because I was most likely having an allergic reaction.

So I did, and it went away in about 2 days.

That was the craziest thing to me. After pretty much my entire life

of no med allergies, I randomly get this awful reaction.

I did find out later from my mom, that she remembers me breaking

out in a rash from Amoxicillin as an infant, but I haven't had

anything since then.

How totally weird is that?

And to top it off,

I ended up at the doctor's again,

because I got C-diff from switching from one

antibiotic to the other.

Seriously.....

when it rains, it pours.

But after everything, I still have a lot to be thankful for :)

Onto November!

I have been spending a lot of time

with these 3 silly kids.

Getting to know them,

watch them grow,

and laughing at the silly things they do.

Max (far left) is such a cuddly monkey. When he knows that

it's time for nap or bed, he wraps his arms and legs around

you with the death grip and snuggles his head into your neck.

I usually can't put him to bed because I don't want him to let go

of that tight squeeze. He has me wrapped around his finger.

He also randomly repeats words he hears and it makes me and Magen laugh.

Parker, the big brother, isn't a big fan of Max, but he loves his "pretty girl"

sister, Maddy. He is already in pre-school and learning so much.

Some of the things he says cracks me up. When you ask him a question

that he doesn't know the answer to, he says

"I can't know!" Cute boy.

And little miss Maddy is the little diva. She likes my painted

toenails and will always come over and look at them,

point and say "pretty." And she usually lets me do her hair

but it doesn't last very long. She pulls out the little elastic hair thing

and then puts them in her mouth. I can show her in the mirror and

tell her pretty over and over, but she still takes it out.

Such a little princess!

My weeks of unemployment are coming to an end.

I start work at a hospital in a few days, and even though

it's only part time, I'm glad to at least have something.

I'm still trying to adjust and haven't been as overwhelmed

as I was when I first moved home.

I have also been able to catch up with some old friends,

which has been really nice.

Other then that, I'm just enjoying to mild, fall weather

and not looking forward to snow :)

I love everything about October....

Starting over.....

My short marriage is coming to an end.

I am completely heartbroken.

I love and miss my best friend.

But I know that everything happens for a reason.

I don't like it one bit.

But I'm doing my best to accept it.

I have been in Idaho Falls for a couple weeks now

living with Magen, John, and the kids.

It has been nice to be around family,

especially the little ones.

They bring me glimmers of happiness.....

And I couldn't hold off my love for blogging much longer,

(so instead of talking about sad things)

I'm going to share my new love for the Photo Booth on the imac...

Forgive me Magen, but these pics make me laugh every time.

I'm not sure photo booth will ever get old :)
