Mother's Day

These pictures make me so happy! I really truly do love being a MOM. I am thankful for this calling in my life. I am so thankful that Heavenly Father has put trust in me and has sent me three wonderful children. I am not saying being a mom is easy for me. There are days when I feel like a complete failure. There are days of tears and frustration. There are days though of pure happiness. I am thankful for a wonderful mom in my life. She is such a great example to me of what a mom should be. I try everyday to be like her. I know I will never live up to her but I hope I can at least become half of what she is. I am so thankful I get to stay home with these 3 everyday. I feel so blessed. I am so happy for summer and that Taylor will be out of school. I love having my kids with me. There is lots of days that my kids test all my patience I have. I try to look at these times as a blessing. I have lots to learn and I am glad I have kids to teach me to become more like my Father in Heaven wants me to be. The other day I had all my kids in a shoe store. I was actually quite proud of them and thought they were being really good. As I was checking out the cashier looked at me and was like " You have your hands full...you don't plan on having more do you?" My reply "Actually yes, I do want at least one more. I love being a mom." I may not be perfect or have the perfect kids but I am so thankful for the calling and privilege of being called MOM.

No More Training Wheels

We finally took the kids training wheels off. We thought it was going to take them awhile but we were surprised. They took right of and did awesome. I think they rode their bikes all day. They were so excited to have no training wheels. Later that day they did crash into each other though. It was a pretty bad one. One black eye later and some tears we headed into town and got them helmets. Hopefully we don't have to many more crashes.

Happy 1st Lincoln!!

Exactly one month ago today our little baby turned 1. I can't believe it. Time truly does fly. I always wish I had a magic wand and could freeze time. So I don't forget anything. I guess that is why I do this blog. I really want to remember all these wonderful moments. Lincoln is such a joy to us. He really is the happiest easy going baby. I think at any moment you can get a smile out of him. At one year he is still not walking. The other two walked so early so it is different but I am not the least bit worried. He does take steps here and there but is content with is speed crawl. He loves food. He loves to sing with the kids. Whenever he hears "I am a Child of God" his ears perk up and he starts singing in his baby language. He does say a few words. Mum, Dadda, bobba (bottle), Ta (Taylor), horse, and shoes. He will actually repeat a lot of words if you say them. He loves to play pat-a-cake. He shakes his head NO. He is starting to be a better sleeper. He LOVES being outside. He cries every time we come inside. The sandbox is his favorite place. He still hasn't learned that sand doesn't taste to great. He loves cars and balls. We all love Lincoln to pieces. He is so loving and loves to snuggle and give kisses and hugs. I can't picture him not in our family. I am sad the year went so fast. He had a wonderful birthday and got to spend it with family. Happy 1st Lincoln.

Easter Weekend

We had a fun Easter weekend. We went and stayed at my parents. On Saturday my mom had eggs for all the grand-kids to color. Then we headed up to have a family picnic and Easter egg hunt. It was a lot of fun. The kids had a blast with cousins and had lots of candy. I think we hid over 600 eggs. It was a fun egg hunt. Grandpa even saddled up the horses for the kids to ride.

St. Patrick's Day

My friend and I had made our kids some St. Patrick's Day shirts. My birthday always falls on St. Patricks day so it was fun to have the kids wear these that day. Lincoln had one too but I am an awful mom and didn't get a picture of him in his. His was white and I think he only made it half of the day in his because he got it dirty. The kids and Jaman of course made my birthday extra special. Jaman had arranged a babysitter the night before so we could enjoy the night together and then I got to celebrate with with family the next day!  Taylor even lightened my load and offered to help feed Lincoln. She really is a great little baby sitter.

A little bit of Sun

The second the weather starts to warm up we are always right outside. We love to be outside. We got the jeep all charged up. The kids played in the sand. Lincoln was in heaven. His first time crawling around and playing outdoors. And then as Idaho always does it turned cold again :(

I want to be a missionary

When Jaman was the young men's president he would have mutual at our house a lot. The kids really got to know the boys. Bridger especially had a really good bond with our neighbor down the road. He would always want to talk to Tate every Sunday at church. Well Tate was old enough to finally leave on a mission. This was really my kids first experience watching someone they really loved leave. All their uncles went on missions but way before they were born. Tate stopped by the night he was set apart to tell us goodbye. What an awesome kid. I am so thankful for wonderful young men that are great examples in my kids life. Since Tate has left the kids have loved writing letters. One day as we were driving into town the kids and I had a great conversation about missions. Bridger says to me, "Mom I want to go on a mission someday. Where will I go?" I went on to tell them how the prophet prays and feels the spirit as to where you should serve. They thought that was so cool. All of the sudden Taylor says, " Ya Bridger and I am feeling the spirit right now and you will go to China." It was so cute. I loved this conversation. Bridger went on to tell me that he would miss me but he will come home after he is done teaching the people about Jesus. I love these tender moments. I love to listen to music but for the past year I have been turning the music off and have been trying to take these opportunities in the car rides to town to talk to my kids. I really cherished this conversation and will always remember it. Especially if Bridger really goes to China :)
