Some Recent Pics

Okay, We haven't done anything too exciting so I thought I'd just post a couple of random pictures. The first picture is from when Tyler was really sick a few weeks back. He had a really bad fever with chills and a terrible sore throat. I brought him a cold rag and put it on his head and Jaxon thought he would help by holding it there for Tyler. What a sweetheart! The second picture is of Jaxon giving himself a pedicure. He watched me file my toenails and then decided that his needed a bit of filing as well. We were able to go to Salt Lake last weekend for a work party and we went to Temple Square to see the lights. I hadn't been in years so it was really fun, it was also very very cold! Jaxon loved the lights and would "ooh" whenever he saw a new color!

Baby #2 is on the Way!

We are very happy to annouce that baby # 2 will be joining our family around May 22, 2009. Just in time for Tyler's, Bridger's and Teresa's birthdays! I thought I planned it pretty good! Jaxon of course doesn't have a clue but I'm sure, well I'm hoping he will be very happy to have someone to share my lap with! Don't bother asking what I think it is, I don't have a clue. I'll think its a girl but then I remember I thought Jaxon was a girl so then I think its a boy and we're back to square one! Anyway just wanted to let you all know! Also, sorry the picture is so blurry, our scanner is out of commision right now so I took a picture of the picture. Oh well, it will have to do for now!

Happy Birthday, Jaxon!!

Okay, so Jaxon's birthday isn't till Friday but we had a little party for him on Saturday. It was really fun. We had it at the park since our house is too small. Jaxon loves being outside so we thought it would be perfect. It was a beautiful day and perfect for playing at the park. We had lots of yummy desserts and enjoyed hanging out with family. Jaxon had a lot of fun with cousins but of course he didn't really care about the presents or the cake. Thanks again to everyone that came!

Family Camping Trip

This year's family camping trip was so much fun! Especially with three little boys in tow! We camped in Island Park right on the Buffalo River, it was beautiful. It is possibly my favorite camping spot ever. We ate lots of good food, had our own "camping olympics", fought off lots of wasps, and hid from the rain. Some of Emily's in-laws came up on Saturday for an awsome kickball game that was so much fun. The little boys loved digging in the dirt and fighting over Grandma's cool toys! Our second night there around 10:30 or 11 Jaxon learned how to throw the dirt in the air. He covered himself from head to toe in dirt but he was having so much fun I couldn't stop him! Tyler made Jaxon have a sponge bath though before he would let him in the sleeping bag. Sunday night and Monday were very very cold so we didn't do much but its always good to just be around family! One of the most memorable things that happened was when Nate ate a wasp. He was driving down the road in an off-road vehicle when a wasp hit him in the mouth and stung him about 5 times. When he got back his top lip was swollen so big we all thought it was a joke! None of us could stop laughing! We made him do funny things and say funny things while we all pointed and laughed some more. Nate was such a great sport though and laughed right along with us! Thanks Nate!

HOME AGAIN!!

YAY! We are finally home! After four and a half long, HOT months we are home! The summer was fun and we were even a little sad to leave Albuquerque but it is nice to be back in our own house. (Except that it is so cold here in the evenings and at night!) We left on Wednesday around 3:30 pm and drove for 7 hours, now here's the kicker... we only made it 300 miles! Tyler drove a car home for some friends that he works with. They had 2 cars out there and needed someone to drive one home and we needed more room so Tyler drove it home. This left me alone with Jaxon in the camry. I wasn't very excited to say the least! The first day was TERRIBLE! Jaxon didn't feel well and he would just scream and scream so we stopped about every hour to let him get out and walk around. Thursday and Friday were much better. He slept a lot and was really good about playing by himself. We had a slumber party at Tyler's mom's house on Thursday and then made it home on Friday, finally! The house wasn't baby-proofed yet because he was so small when we left, so the first half hour or so I spent following him around baby-proofing everything he tryed to touch or pull or put his fingers in. Anyway, it has been a very long, busy few days but we are happy to be home and we are NEVER leaving again!

Look! No hands! Jaxon is walking! He started walking on Sunday the 20th and is getting really good! He loves to walk but he is still a little nervous. I have a video clip but I can"t get it to load so a picture will have to do for now. Tyler said that the longer a baby crawls the smarter he is, and Jaxon hasn't been crawling long so I tried to make him stop but it was too late! We are very proud of him! Especially to be doing it before he's 10 months old! It is so weird to see such a little person just walking around! Yay Jaxon!

Jaxon now has 3, count them 3, teeth that he LOVES to bite toes and fingers with!

This is one of Jaxon's favorite places in our apartment. It the closet door in our bedroom. He can play in front of the mirror for a long time, and I don't mind!

Another favorite place of Jaxon's. He really likes the blinds on the sliding door in the living room. They'll entertain him for a good 20 minutes or so. And again, I'm grateful for the time!

Another Weekend at Sievers!!

All the boys together at last!

It was so fun to see them all playing together. Now that they're all the same size and can do a lot of the same things they have so much fun together!

Shopping with all the babies! How FUN! No, really they were all pretty good, as long as they got to take turns driving!

We spent a day at Matt's parent's condo in north Scottsdale. We went swimming, played in tunnels, orderd take out and just hung out!

This is the fun tunnel the boys played in, they loved it! This is the best picture I could get of all three of them in there at the same time. And no, Jaxon's not pushing Samuel, he's just helping him get through faster!

The babies LOVE the water! Jaxon slept for a lot of it but that was ok because I got a chance to play a bit! (Like in the picture below!) We played keep away, and Nate and I CRUSHED Tyler and Matt! And this is my way of rubbing it in!

Mostly I just wanted to show off Tyler's hott farmer's tan!

This is the balcony Jaxon and I got locked out on. Funny story. We were getting ready to leave and Tyler took a load down to the car, as he left he told me not the close the door because he didn't have a key. After he left I heard some people out in the hall so I closed the door, just to be safe. I also flipped the little latch thing over too, again, just to be safe. Then Jaxon and I went out on the balcony to have one last look at the ocean. I slid the door closed behind me so I wouldn't waste all the cold air inside the room. Anyway, when I closed the door it locked from the inside. So, Jax and I were locked on the balcony and Tyler was locked out of the room. I started to panic, (ok, little confession, I am very claustrophobic and a little scared of heights) so I started yelling down for someone to help me. Oh, yeah, we're on the 4th floor. So, I'm yelling "excuse me! Can someone help me?!" No one looks at me except this little girl in the pool. So I keep yelling. Luckily, with all my yelling, Tyler heard me through a window in the stairwell next to our room. We "discussed loudly" for a bit about why I locked the door and closed the latch and then Tyler went for help. A man had to come bust the latch off the door for us. He said that this happens all the time, people getting locked out on the balcony so I didn't feel quite as stupid. Anyway, me and Tyler laughed about it for the rest of the day. Thankfully, Jaxon was perfect through the whole thing! Now, I didn't have to share this embarrassing story but I did, so be kind in your comments!

Bridger Comes to Visit!

Bridger was able to stop by last Wednesday. He came with a friend to pick up a boat. He didn't get to stay long but it was really good to see him! Thanks for stopping by Bridge! I was feeling pretty family/homesick so it was really nice to see him.

Soooo Sleepy!

So I was doing dishes and Jaxon was getting a little fussy is his high chair so I turned the ceiling fan on to entertain him. A few minutes later I look over and he's head starts to nod and then jerk his back up. Nod, then jerk. Nod, then jerk. He put up a good fight and then finally gave in!

Week at Amy's

Stratton loves to push this little stroller but it is too light and he ends up falling down, so we thought we'd put Jaxon in it to make it heavier for Stratton to push. They both loved it! Jaxon was a little too heavy so I helped Strat a little bit.

THE ZOO!

At first neither one was very happy about being at the zoo. Stratton had a weird rash and they were both really tired. But we played in the little water fountain park a bit and then they cheered up, for a while at least! Last time we went to the zoo Jaxon just slept and when he was awake he only wanted to look at the birds eating crumbs off the ground. He didn't care much for the big exotic animals. But this time he really liked looking at the animals. He saw monkeys, giraffes, lots of birds, longhorn cattle, and a few other fun animals. It was really hot so we only stayed an hour and a half but it was so fun!

This is a pic of all the babies that are out here in Tucson with us this summer. There are 7, Jaxon is the oldest and the youngest is about 8 weeks old. It is so fun having this many babies to play with! And they are all so good and get along great!

Jaxon loves to stand and will pull himself up on anything he can get a hold of!

Crawling, FINALLY!

So Jaxon finally learned how to crawl! It is more of a hobble but at least he's moving! He is getting really good at getting around and especially getting into things!
