We finished the shed and Carl painted it barn red - sort of my favorite color (red). It looks really good, I think. He still has a few touch up places to do, but the weather turned colder, so he couldn't finish. He painted the trim white, but it bled into the red a little. So he still needs to touch up the red. But we need a day of over 50 degrees for the paint to dry properly. It's starting to look like he won't get it finished until next April. We'll see. We put our lawn-mover, weed-whacker, and tiller in it. We also put the shovel, racks, and other gardening stuff in it. Carl even took the mat off the trampoline for the winter and put it and the springs in there. Carl got a solar panel and power inverter from his mom and dad from their travel trailer before they sold it. So Carl found a good place for them. Since there is not electricity wired to the shed, he put the solar panel on the roof of the shed and the inverter with a deep cycle battery inside. He hung up an old florescent light inside, and solar power lights it and even runs an electric drill when needed. Our 6-year-old grandson Noah came over and saw it, and asked us what that 'bown' was for in the backyard. Carl asked him, "What bone?" He didn't think the dogs had a bone out there. Noah answered, "No - not bone - bown!" We finally figured out that he was trying to say 'barn.' He has trouble pronouncing words with r's - how funny! Carl calls him "No-ah Yes-ah, Yes-ah No-ah." He wants to get him a mummy Halloween costume with both white and black rolls of gauze. And on the white gauze he would write "No-ah" in black marker, and on the black gauze, he would mark "Yes-ah" in white lettering.
