Get on top the 950-year-old city wall and ride a bike; be sure to enjoy the panoramic view of the city. Built during the early Ming Dynasty with a core of mud covered by three layers of bricks, it is the only city wall to remain intact in China today. After a Chinese hot pot lunch, Visit the Tangbo Art Museum where you and your children will learn Chinese calligraphy. Then proceed down to visit the Xian Starfish Baby Home(the visit time is from 2:00pm to 6:00pm).

Embark on an amazing historical and cultural adventure today beginning with the exploration of the Terra-Cotta Warrior Museum, a UNESCO world heritage site since 1987. Created 2,000 years ago to guard the tomb of China’s first emperor QinShiHuang, time and the elements have gradually worn away the vibrant painted details from the soldiers and horses to reveal their original earthy terracotta color. Learn making terracotta warriors in one local craft factory. You will be transferred to a local restaurant and learn to make dumpling, enjoy your own made dumpling lunch. This afternoon, visit Shan Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. Displays include fossils, instruments, weapons, clothing, pottery and artwork. Magnifying lenses are set into the glass of some displays allowing visitors a close up view of smaller items. Continue your visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is the symbol of the old-line Xian.
After dinner the local restaurant, you will be transferred and enjoy the Tang Dynasty Show.

This morning, visit the Muslim Quarter. Then enjoy the traditional puppet show in the GaoJia Courtyard. Your children can practice puppeteering after the show. At the noon time, you will be transferred to the Xian airport, depart for Beijing.

Your guide will take you to the Yuanlong Tailor’s shop where you can have your silk dresses made. Then visit the local instrument workshop and learn the traditional Chinese instrument if possible.
And have your lunch at a local Chinese restaurant where you can enjoy the yummy Eggplant with Garlic (not spicy) and other authentic Chinese food. This afternoon, visit Summer Palace; located in the western outskirts of the city, the Summer Palace is the leading classical garden in China. Originally built in 1750 and rebuilt in 1886, this site was listed as an UNESCO"s world heritage site in 1999. Tonight, enjoy the Chinese Kung Fu Show.

Begin your day with a tour at the Mutianyu Great Wall. Constructed more than 2,000 years ago by China’s first emperor, the ancient wall is 6,350 km or about 4,000 miles in length. Then visit the jade shop where you might find some treasured stuffs. After included lunch, visit Shahe Cloisonné Enamel Factory, you can watch the process of making cloisonné in the workshop. On the way back to Beijing downtown, drive by and stop and visit the outside of the major Olympic Venue-Bird’s Nest and Water Cube.
Visit the Peking Duck Restaurant and see how the professional chef roasts Peking duck - Beijing's most famous dish, is traditionally served with Mandarin pancakes, and green onions for brushing on the hoisin sauce.
Enjoy your Peking Duck dinner there.

Beijing’s oldest Hutongs (alleys) were constructed during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Your tour will take you through some of the best-preserved Hutong neighborhoods that represented the history, culture and lifestyle of old Beijing. Your family can learn to construct your own kites under professional instruction. Then relax and fly your handmade kites with the others at the Temple of Heaven, which is the largest temple and altar, often depicted as the most recognizable symbol of China.

More than 700 years ago, the Italian traveler, Marco Polo, introduced spaghetti to Italy, then to all western countries. After your Guilin Rice noodle lunch, you won’t be surprised why local people can have noodles every day, every meal. Explore the Reed Flute Caves in afternoon. Enjoy the gorgeous views of beautiful backdrops created by the cool atmosphere and colorful lighting displays inside the caves as you pass by many fanciful shapes (don’t forget to look for the Monkey King). On the Chinese New Year Eve, your guide and driver will take you to a local restaurant and have a New Year feast to spend this special day with your foster family(there are around 10-13 people in their family).

After breakfast, embark on a Li River scenic cruise and enjoy a delicious lunch onboard. The landscape of Guilin is noted as the most stunning in China. With sparkling clear waters and magnificent green hills, you may even see fishermen fishing with their trained cormorant birds occasionally. In the afternoon, visit an Ethnic Minority village where you can enjoy the Minority Singing and Dancing Show. Get on the electronic car (public bus in Yangshuo) and tour around the Yangshuo County.
Note: the minority show time is at 2:30pm, 3:30pm and 4:30pm and it last around 30-40 minutes.

Have cooking class this morning, learn how to cook Chinese Green beans Ginger garlic(not spicy), Chinese garlic eggplant and lo mein(捞面) if possible; enjoy your own cooked Chinese lunch. After lunch, you can rent Tandem bike and ride around the villages at Yangshuo. Before leaving Yangshuo back to Guilin, you can visit West Street and do some shopping. In the afternoon, your guide and driver will transfer you back to Guilin and visit Matthew’s foster care family and the old neighborhood. You can have a dinner with the foster family at their home.
