FERNANDEZ Family....

It's a family tradition to have a yearly reunion on Dec. 24 - a legacy left by our beloved Lolo Zario. I know he's happy to see us altogether as one family...Tito Dennis came home for a short vacation from Dubai just to spend the holiday with us (it's been 10 years since he's present in Christmas Reunion). Lala and Len were also here (OFW from Singapore)...Tito Boboy came with his two sons - Biboy and Bojie (they're still kids the last time we saw them)....It's a happy moment with my cousins, titas and titos, nieces....but it's the happiest moment to the most phogographed woman that night, "My Lola Luz."

We had dinner at Don Henrico's and coffee at Figaro....It's reminiscing time - our old, happy days at Cainta branch...We miss the others - Joyce, Che, Jerry, Joseph, Ma'am Del, Boss Sonny, Arnold and Robert...hope to see you all "complete," next Christmas!!!

Per Decade X'mas Party!!!

Dec. 19, Contact Center Christmas Party...It's a battle of each decade (50's, 60's, 70's & 80's) And our group "Seventies" garnered the first prize in the presentation. Meech, Jen, and Me danced with the dashing Marius, in the music of "El Bimbo." You could see how colorful and well-coordinated our get-up....We made it!!! We also have Teng in our group but she just joined the Jingle Bells singing contest- we got the 2nd place...

Never a bride, 1st time Ninang...

It's my very first appearance as principal sponsor in a wedding. I can't say "No" to my cousin - it's his eldest daughter who got married last Saturday. Last month, I felt old to be a bridesmaid and now, I feel young to be a ninang...Anyway, I just have to enjoy every event so my souvenir photos are my consolation. It seems my blog serves as my online photo album....isn't it cool?

It's another get together with my high school batchmates at Tiendesitas....As we welcome "Queenie Quibar" from London (the girl with a small voice) and "Cristina Ruiz" (the boyish mestiza)...It's an evening full of fun - a get away from our hectic and traffic life...Of course, I'm with my bestfriend "Beteng" (Kung Fu Panda is his new screen name) and taking advantage of our new friend "Gary D." (it's Diaz, not Daga!) - he's driving an Adventure, FYI....

One of my happiest moments...

It's one of the touching messages I've ever received, "Life is better when you're happy but life is at its best when other people are happy because of you."

There's a story behind that photo....After few hours of real celebration because it's my birthday (2 years ago)...my friends gave me some honoring...It was Dupong who started being melodramatic with his message, and the rest of the group we're all caught crying...

I left my heart in San Francisco....

I just got the title from the e-mail of my cool classmate Geneveve via our Batch Yahoo Group. Seeing the lovely pictures of my batchmates has inspired me to write about their recent gathering. They just had a Reunion at San Francisco which was hosted by Sarah and Venaida. Among the attendeees are Ailene, Theresa, Muriel, Ma-an Abreu, Grace, Jhayne, Junie,and with their families.

Imagine how they they took time out to break the monotony of their hectic life in the States. And Geneveve came from Canada to bond with them, and to quote what she said , "Pictures alone cannot express the joy, fun, love and drama we had the past four days!"

It's a success! Hope to see you all in our "2010 High School Batch '87 Reunion" as we begin our life's journey at 40!!!

Happy 1st Birthday MARCO!

I just attended Marco's 1st birthday - youngest son of my officemate. The party was well-attended. We enjoyed the yummy food and the beautiful venue. We also had fun watching the kids joining parlor games and laughing out loud...

I was with Arlene, Badong, Tita Julie and Quane. We shared table with Maricel and her two kids, Botchok and Pam. Teng, Lanlan, Jupiter, Ces, and Raffy came over, too. I've also seen some familiar faces of former employees of our company.

Fiesta!

Fiesta is a good time to bond with your family and relatives. It’s like a riot in our house as we eat together and exchange pleasantries with each other. Every year, we look forward to watching this colorful event in our barrio.

So I always have my digicam ready, to capture moments like these! I love taking pictures of my fast growing clan and the morning procession.

H.S. Reunion Batch '87

It’s our first High School Reunion! It's ten years after we graduated from our Alma Mater - Cainta Catholic School.

My funny friend, “Beteng,” warned us that, “we’d rather be overdressed than underdressed.” We did come in our best retro get up. It was timely because my uncle was in town. He made an overly retro top for me, and it’s for free! Suprisingly, I garnered the "Bagong Anyo Award."

There’s jamboree in our hearts as we exchange smiles with each other. Good to see our batch mates again!!!
