Still Waiting (Again) ...

[Due Date: October 15th 2011]

Well, here we are again! One day past the due date & LOL... its safe to say that I am going crazy...again! ;) 

Happily, my mom is in town for the next 10 days & until our little guy decides he's ready to come, we'll just have to pass the time having fun & hanging out.

I can't believe how quickly the last few weeks have past. And the closer its gotten the more excited & anxious I am! I keep wondering what he's going to look like, what his little personality is going to be like & what its going to be like to be a family of 4.

Madi girl seems more & more excited about "baby brudder" on-the-way.
I just cannot wait to see both of them together - she's going to be such a good big sister.

We're hoping that he's not going to keep us waiting too much longer but if its one thing I learned waiting for M its that he'll come when he's ready (I hope).

HaPpY 3rd BiRtHdAy Bug-A-Boo!!

Today our Madi-Girl turned 3 years old!

To celebrate we had a little Bug party with her friends & their moms.

(Of which I wouldn't have had pictures of if Andrea hadn't of taken them- Thanks again girl!).

At 3 years old our Madi-Bear is always singing.

 Her favorites: ABC's, Incy Wincy Spider, & Rain-Rain-Go-Away 

 She gets more independent every day.

Lately, she doesn't want help in & out of the car.

And she's so proud of herself when she clicks-in all the buckles without help.

 She's my little number 2. She always wants to "help" me make dinner, vacuum, load the washer & carry laundry. She gets the biggest smile on her face when you call her a "good helper".

 She cries when she has to put her nose in the corner for being naughty. 

But often will tell other children being naughty at the store to do so.

 

  She still loves (& needs) a nap.When she gets up she always gets a small treat 

so that "moody madi" isn't the one to greet papa when he gets home.

 Talk to her on the phone or listen to her prayers & they're short & to the point.

(Maybe that's why her Papa always calls on her for dinner prayer).

She loves running into a room & yelling, "To the Rwescue!" & then running out.

 She's 3 years old & still our happy, quirky, little girl.

And we still just cannot get enough of her!

Bugs, Bugs, Bugs...

Around our house we have daily bug-hunts... 

 

(And they are not hard to find ... lol.)

  

They might seem creepy & gross to some.

But not to this little girl.

 

 

 She just thinks they are too cool & too much fun.

Preschool

 My Madi girl is growing up!

 This fall we've started preschool...

A few of us Moms in the neighborhood got together for a "joy school" program for our little ones.

Twice a week we get the kids together for a few hours to learn about letters, numbers, etc & play.

And each Mom's takes a turn teaching.

I have to admit the first time I dropped M off I did have a moment.

For some silly reason all I could think is, 

"This is the beginning... soon she won't be my little side-kick/shadow all day".

LOL, It felt sad running errands & looking in the backseat of my car at her empty booster chair.

Luckily, its only 2 hours. And I've learned since that day the times flies!

Its honestly become a mad-dash to get as much done as possible before pick-up.

On days when its at our house, its been so fun teaching this crazy bunch. 

Sometimes I can't help but laugh watching & listening to them learn & play together.

Kids are so funny.

 

Madi girl loves it.

She'll show us her latest creation from "pwee-skwool" (chad gets multiple show & tells)

And has started to very matter-of-factly tell me what the day's weather is.

Pregnancy Update: 32 weeks

Okay I know its taken me forever but Sunday I finally took a bump picture. I told myself after M I would be better about documenting the next pregnancy... and well.... here we are. I am going to try & be better though & get better pictures.

Starting out I wasn't as sick as I got with M, but there still was a motion-sickness-like period & headaches. Since then 2nd & so far 3rd trimester has been good. I'm able to feel him kick and move all day long and especially when I first lay down to sleep. Sometimes I can even see his movements through my clothing. I can't help but feel a little wave of excitement when I think of all that is to come...and a little nervousness too. Up until now I've felt like I've got plenty of time before our little man makes his debut, but just in the last few days I've started to feel the opposite- so much to do, so little time. 

Little Miss Wrinkly Feet

 M loves playing in water of any kind ... but she especially loves her tub time. Recently she's discovered that more play time will make "winkles". The first time it happened she could not stop laughing & loved rubbing her wrinkly hands & feet together. Now, each day she feels like its just not a long enough "baff" until she gotten her "winkles". LOL ...

M's favorite part of the zoo is when she gets to feed & pet the goats. But this time we were surprised to see they let the chickens out & kids were able to pet them too (well ...when they could catch them). We also discovered a new indoor learning center that was pretty cool.
