FYP
FYP always seems to be the bane of many graduating students' life. On the contrary, I think its an enjoyable process. In fact it is turning me (and my FYP mates) into geeks as you can see from figure 1, I have to sort to such means to communicate humour. By large, most days seems like an episode from Big Bang Theory. Believe me when I say it's scary when the things that you speak, the terms that you use, and the relationship you draw from things is not something a normal person would understand.
Then again, having a bad experience in research in my early undergraduate days, FYP have changed my perspective of research. And right now, it seems that research is not as horrifying as I thought. It's true that I will not be able to provide explanations for all the observations from my experiments, but the process of seeking the knowledge to learn more about your stuff is mentally stimulating and exhilarating. Don't worry, I have yet to gone bonkers from studying.
I always end off my post with something irrelevant and emo-tic. I think I realised how difficult it is to deal with people. It is tiring, it is troublesome and sometimes, it can be a total waste of time. I always wonder if I am just the one who receives the wrong end of the stick. But maybe, I think maybe it stems from inside me; I am the problem.
