so we have been a little busy around here with the baby coming soon and Ryan needing surgery on his shoulder. But also a little bored sitting around ALL day, but good news with sitting around ALL day you catch up on a very good series called Vampire Diaries. Anyone else into that show?

And Please Somebody else needs to tell this kid to stop playing sports and not have bad joints so we can stop paying for surgeries(he is not listening to me). OK so maybe he doesn't have that bad of joints just kinda freak accidents to cause all of this. Remember last year he had knee surgery pretty much the same time.

A little update..

So the Haaga side party had Santa come visit and I thought for sure Kynlee would be excited but very shy and timid. But that was not the case at all. She was the first to run up to him with a huge grin and the first to sit on his lap. That is my Girl!

Indianapolis zoo

We picked a perfect day for the zoo, the day after Labor Day so it was not crowded at all. And they had a discount cause it was the first Tuesday of the month (and we didn't know) always love saving some money. And we got to see a free dolphin show. Oh and it was cloudy with a little breeze...much better than what we were having hot humidity.

they had so many fun things to do as well. We got to feed the giraffe a slice of sweet potato, pet baby sharks and ride a fun little train.

We found the cutest bunny/rabbit (I'm not really sure the difference) just outside our apartment sliding door. We walked up to it and it didn't even budge. I kinda thought it was dead but then I noticed it breathing. Then I felt bad thinking it lost its mommy. But as soon as Kynlee went to give it carrots (which I'm sure it doesn't really eat) it darted off. Maybe I should do some research, what does it eat? Is it a bunny or a rabbit? Oh well. its off now. It sure was cute:)

The best $.4o cents I've spent. At first I thought oh it will probably make a huge mess. Then I thought again and said oh well and by surprise she really was pretty clean with it. And kept her busy for 45 min.

Baby #2 is coming the middle/end of Jan. And... Its a BoY!! we are so excited for him to come and I can not wait to meet him.

So I saw and heard a few people read this book and saw it in costco and thought to myself, I really need to read more and plus, cherelle your bored out of your mind day in and day out sitting in this stinky old apartment. So I bought it and highly recommend it:) Somebody said, I find my self talking like the ladies in the book throughout the day. I laughed thinking me too!! So anybody in need of a good book to read pick this one you wont be disappointed.

We have transitioned Kyn in a big girl bed now cause she figured out how to climb out of the pack n play. Naps have been a little challenging, but night time not so bad. But this is what happened when she wouldn't sleep in her bed. I didn't mind till my butt started falling asleep, but we got her moved.

Duke's Garden

We went down to Duke University's Garden which was very beautiful and Huge! It was a little too hot to see it all but it was pretty. and not to mention Kynlee wanted to pick every flower in sight which was everywhere you looked.

best friend cousins reunited once again. My mom, sister and her little boy Trysen came out to N. Carolina to visit us. And must I say that visit went by way to fast. I definitely got homesick when they left. But we did enjoy ourselves while they were here.

one thing we did was go down to wrightville beach and the kids just had a blast with the waves splashing up. the water was quite nice and warm.

We also went to go see were the tornado hit only 20 min away from were we live in Raleigh. It was so sad to see and I just thought to myself wow I'm so grateful this was not us and how stupid I was to not take the warnings serious cause really I had no idea how serious it can be or really what to do if it hit.(but don't worry I do now!) Crazy the damage it can cause and how one spot is completely fine and right next to it complete damage.

sometimes this girl thinks she can do whatever she wants....I feel like she tells me NO all day long or is it the other way around? who knows I think we just are telling each other NO all day long. Boy do I love her though:) she really gives the best hugs you'll ever get.

I think one of the things I miss most about summers away from home is a home grown garden(from my parents garden of course)....especially the tomatoes (nothing like home grown garden tomatoes in a fresh batch of salsa). Anyway I was reading in the Ensign and it said no excuses! you can have a garden any where even if you are living in an apartment. It showed some examples and sure enough its true you can grow your own garden. so I am attempting to grow my own tomatoes and cilantro and make some of that home made salsa....sooo far so good

If only I had an airplane to help her nap everyday in 2.5 seconds.

camping!!

It's safe to say Kynlee is a camping girl. She loved her first time camping. And she refused to get off the four wheeler (that is her saying NO to me). She also thought Mommy's ugly camping shirt was a dress and wanted to wear it around all day. And don't miss her helmet hair. We really hit it right, just before the big snow fall. It was so beautiful and sunny.

I really can not believe she is TWO.

She has been loving Strawberry shortcake so we gave her a shortcake party. she got spoiled with family, friends and gifts.

this girl loves to sleep with some toys every nap and night time. Ryan went to go peek at her and found her sleeping like this.

My silly little nephew climbed into this cupboard shut it and says, "where Trysen go?" Then opened it up and said, "there I am!"

Kynlee loves her Panga "grandpa" and Ganma "grandma" because they spoil her and her cousin to peices which we are so greatful for. They took them to the mall yesterday and they got to ride the Choo Choo!! as Kynlee calls it. You can see in her picture she is saying choo choo. she just kept saying it over and over while riding the train.
