Today Garrett went on his first field trip to Rader's Pumpkin Patch. I was able to join him this morning and we lucked out and had great weather.
We wrapped up the morning with some bouncing!!! It was a great morning and I am glad I was able to join him. 
The guys started taking off a few end rows yesterday and Colton couldn't wait to get home last night to talk farming with Nick. Well, today I had the day off and Colton got out at 1:00pm, so I was able to take the boys out for their first combine/semi rides of the year.
It's hard to believe it's that time of year already, where does the time go??? I am not sure if I am ready for it yet, but I love everything about fall!!!!
The boys have been discussing their plans for the past two weeks, who was going to ride with who. Colton rode in the combine with Nick and Garrett rode with papa in the semi, it all worked out!!!!
I took the entire day off work today because I anticipated it might be a rough day for Garrett, since it was his first day at pre-school. However, much to my surprise he did great!!! I walked him in and he lined up and gave me a kiss and told my good bye!!!! When I picked him up he said he had a great time and he loved pre-school!!! Wow, I was not anticipating this reaction!!!!
Afterwards we met Mimi for lunch and had a little celebration. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that he continues to like it.
Wow, what a change in the weather!!! It was so nice out today that we decided to spend some time outside. We took the boys and Zoe up to Evergreen lake and went for a walk on the paths through the woods.
We had never been on the trails up there, but they were really nice and the kids had a great time!!
Zoe wasn't too sure about the water, but the boys had a fun skipping rocks.
On the way back to the car Garrett decided he was just too tired to walk anymore and needed a break!!! We tired to eat at Green Gables, but apparently everyone in Mclean Co. had the same idea!!! Instead we came home and I made a big pot of chili and some beer break....fall is in the air.
