A Chick-fil-A play place on a Thursday afternoon did not seem like a likely place to tear up. But I did. Standing there watching my three little girls playing around in a germ infested play structure, with the back ground hum of lunch diners, my heart swelled up with joy and gratitude. I had a hard time keeping those tears from escaping.
I am SO LUCKY to be a mother to these five awesome, incredible and precious children!! And it hit me so forcefully at that moment, in that place, on that day.
It was a sweet reminder that though things don’t always work out as I may hope and pray I know that I am truly blessed. Especially to be a mother.
