On Its Way

my new camera is on its way! i can't wait until i get it, i haven't been able to take any pictures for over a week. i'll be anticipating its delivery, gotta love ebay!

on another note - ryan has been planning a surprise for me for my 30th. he's said nothing about it except that it's going to be the Saturday after my birthday, and that he got his sister to babysit the kids during the day for us. i love surprises and was so happy that he finally was doing something as a surprise for me so i didn't ask any questions because i really didn't want it to get ruined. sooooo.... last night when i opened the laptop to check my facebook (new addiction), his yahoo email account was up and what do i see right in front of my face? yep, the confirmation for his "surprise". it's a trip to vegas for the two of us! it's just a day trip, he's taking me there to go shopping for my birthday. we leave at 8:30 in the morning and come back at 7:30 that same day. how exciting! ryan is so devastated that i saw it. he was so proud of himself and couldn't wait to surprise me. i feel bad cause he looked so miserable when he realized that i saw it. awww, poor ryan. but now i have a few weeks to decided what i want to go shopping for, yay for me!

30 + 22 =

I took both kids to see the doctor yesterday. I was surprised to hear that Kylee weighs 30 lbs, and she's only 20 months! Well, not too surprised cause she's real tall for her age but I wouldn't have thought 30 lbs. And my little buddy is a whopping 22 lbs at 7.5 months! But he's not very long, just real wide. He looks like a short michelin man. Awwww.... they're getting too big. Where does it go?

On another note, this is for my friends out of state - I used the air conditioning in my car yesterday. Can you believe it? It's probably because it stays parked outside and I have leather, but with the sun beating down yesterday it was HOT inside when I took them to the doctor. Air conditioning in Jan?? I love it here!

Still no camera, not sure when I'm getting another one. I'm working on it being real soon, but we'll have to see.

Broken

Yep, broke my camera. I tripped over one of the kids toys and caught myself before falling but my camera was in the hand that I used to catch myself and it's destroyed. So no more picture posts until I get a replacement ;-(

The Little Engine that Could

For real, who would have thought that the Cardinals were going to be in the Superbowl?? But they did it. Now, everyone knows that I'm a HUGE Buffalo Bills fan but this pink Cardinals jersey was not something that I could pass up when I saw it at Walmart. It is soooooo freakin cute! Besides this is middle ground for Ryan and I. See, he's a Denver Broncos fan. I don't want the kids wearing Denver stuff, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't want them wearing Buffalo stuff, so Arizona was our compromise for the kids. I mean they are from here and all, so I guess it makes sense. And although I think Pittsburgh is going to win on Feb 1, I will be rooting for Arizona... and so will miss Kylee. This was Kylee trying to hide from the camera...

Teefies

For the love of god, I have two teething babies! I knew it was going to happen someday and I noticed Nolan's yesterday. He had a crappy Saturday night but was totally fine all day on Sunday. But his nose started running last night so I held him down and took a look... yep, two baby teefies on the bottom. It's just barely starting so it's gonna be a little while. And little miss Kylee has been working on two bottom molars for about a week and they still haven't poked through yet. That's a whole lotta drool between the both!!

Backyard Fun

I'm so glad we splurged and got Kylee a backyard playground. I did get it used, but it was still not very cheap. She loves it and that's all that matters. Daddy was in Tucson again last week so I took in the kids in the backyard to blow off some energy, and maybe get a little bit of a tan for me!

Big Trouble

I got roses the other day. It was only because Ryan was in big trouble, but whatever. At least I know he was really sorry because he NEVER gives me flowers. They were real pretty, purple roses. There was an odd number though, there were 7. I wonder if the place he bought them accidentally put an extra one in, or if Ryan thought I wasn't worth the other 5 and took them out. Either way, it took a bit of the edge off. Kudos to Ryan...

Raspberries

Nolan's new favorite pasttime is to blow raspberries. It's funny until he does it while eating. It's a disaster. I forgot about this, Kylee used to do it too. I can't remember how long it lasted for with Kylee, but hopefully he stops soon. And yes, it gets ALL over mommy too... Who, me? I didn't do it mommy...
