Tired Boys

I was doing crafts with the girls last night and looked over and saw "my boys" sleeping. Rich was so tired when he got home from work. He was taking care of Wyatt while I was helping the girls and Wyatt was asleep too. I thought it was a cute picture and thought I would share.

Rich took the kids sledding the other day. I really wanted to get some pictures of them on the sled hill, because it is a huge sledding hill. I wasn't able to go sledding with them. I had Wyatt all dressed up in his warm clothes, but the wind was too cold on his little face, so we'll have to get pictures on the sled hill another day. We did however get some pictures of the kids making an igloo in the front yard though. I can't believe we had enough snow to do that. Here are a couple of pictures. We didn't get Rylie, because she got cold and came in before we could get any.

Merry Christmas

Christmas this year was so much fun, but I can't believe how fast it came. Santa was quite nice this year and brought just what the girls asked for. McKenzie got Hannah Montana guitar hero, Kaylie got the My Little Pet shop gym and Rylie got a "pee pee on the potty doll." I do have to say that she is very cute.
They also got a bunch of new clothes, beautiful new church dresses and all that comes along with Christmas...like socks and underwear :) They got plenty of toys too.

Thanks so much to grandmas and grandpas for providing a great Christmas for the kids too. We loved having Christmas with you. It's always a great time when we get to spend time with family.

Christmas Eve was a fun night too. We spent it with Grandma and Grandpa Godfrey and grandma cooked the most amazing dinner...prime rib and ham with all the fixins, and pies and desserts galore. Grandma is an amazing cook. Then the kids did a little talent show and we read the birth of jesus out of the scriptures. The kids got to open one present at grandmas...I bet you can't guess what it was??? You're right...jammies. It's tradition to get jammies on Christmas Eve.

We love Christmas, but pray that everyone remembers the real reason why we celebrate Christmas.

While I was out grocery shopping yesterday, I came across the cutest little suit for Wyatt. I just couldn't pass it up. Needless to say he was the best dressed kid in church today ;) What a handsome little boy!!

I just had to share this. We were finally able to capture Wyatt's smile. Isn't it just so cute?? His whole face lights up when he smiles. Thanks Mindy for capturing this for me.

Wyatt has such a contagious smile that you just can't help but smiling yourself. It is so much fun to see his sweet little smile. We have our camera handy all the time so we can capture moments just like these.

Wyatt Turns 2 months Old

Today Wyatt turned 2 months old. I took him in for his 2 month check up and was shocked to learn that he weighs 12 pounds. Holy Cow!! Six weeks ago when I took him in for a check up he only weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces. He has put on 4 pounds in the last 6 weeks. Everything is great with him. When the doctor looked at him, he just stood there for a second and said we put our stamp on all our kids cuz they all look the same.

He is a great baby. I think he has been the best baby we've had...only getting up once, maybe twice a night. He is very smiley, although I haven't been able to capture his sweet little smile on camera. Mindy has a great picture I have been waiting for. When he smiles his whole face lights up. His sisters love him so much. Sometimes it is hard for them to understand that he needs some breathing room :) We are so grateful for Wyatt and we love him so much

Fun Day With Wyatt

Today was Eastons Birthday and we got to spend the afternoon at Chuck E Cheese. It was so much fun to be able to spend time with our family and celebrate Eastons Birthday. Wyatt is getting so big and everyone loves him so much.

Davon was having a great time too. He loved the pizza and wants everyone to know he is a 'big boy' too;)

All I Want For Christmas...Is My Two Front Teeth!

Poor Rylie. It has been so long since she lost her front teeth. All she literally needs is her front teeth. She thinks it's a pretty good thing that it's not Summer time so she doesn't have to miss out on eating corn on the cob. Hopefully soon those teeth will come in and she will have a pretty white smile:)

A Fun Light Parade

Last night we took the kids to see the Spanish Fork City light parade. It was a little cold, but it was something fun to do. Everything was decked out in lights. We even got to see Santa...whoo, hoo! Hopefully the girls will be good enough for Santa to bring them something. I hope they are not too disappointed when they get up Christmas morning and find a big shiny black rock with a big red bow. Good thing they still have a few weeks to prove to Santa they can be good girls.

Wyatt loved looking at all the bright lights. Thanks to Aunt Mindy who gave him the nice warm hat and mittens.

Our 'Lil Cougar

We were fortunate enough to be able to watch the BYU/Utah game with a bunch of friends. Although the outcome wasn't as we had hoped we still had a great time and loved being able to get together and have lots of good food and great fun. I just couldn't resist taking these cute pictures of Wyatt-our little Cougar. He was so great during the game, even with all the shouting and cheering. Soon enough he'll be cheering for our BYU Cougars too. Go Cougs!!!

Wyatt Turns One Month

Wyatt turned one month old this past Saturday. I can't believe how much he is growing and changing already. He is still the most amazing baby, and we all love him so much. We are still trying to decided what color his hair is. Sometimes it looks really blond and sometimes it looks strawberry blond. Rich really wants his hair to be red. His skin is pretty fair. He has changed so much since the first pictures that we took. It makes me so sad to see how fast time is flying by and how fast the kids grow up before my eyes. I am so grateful that I can be a stay at home mom and have the wonderful opportunity to spend time with my kids, and spend my days with Wyatt. I feel like the luckiest mom in the world.

Playin' in the Leaves

What's Fall time without playing in the leaves?? We don't have many trees at our house so Rich took the girls to our duplex which has huge trees and more leaves than you know what to do with.
They had so much fun and liked ruining the big piles of leaves that Rich had raked up. Of course, we had to take a few pictures of little Wyatt for his first fall too.

Amazing Comparison

We have been spending time lately trying to figure out just who Wyatt looks like. Everyone thinks he looks like somebody different. I was looking through Colton's book the other day and finally figured out just who he looks like...Colton. It is almost scary how much both of them look so much alike. You can definitely tell that they are brothers. Such sweet little boys. We are so blessed to have such amazing kids. The picture of Colton was taken when he was 4 weeks old and the pictures of Wyatt, he is now 3 weeks old. See what you think. I think they look so much alike to me.

First Snow of 2008

Today was the first snow of 2008. We didn't get much snow which is ok for me. Just enough to play in but not enough to have to shovel. I don't know that I'm ready to shovel snow just yet.
