Wow it's been three years since I posted anything! The last 2.5 years I was promoted to Assistant Manager at  KMart with all the news about KMart these days my position was eliminated in January  and I am now enjoying my time at home with my family. I have missed so much at home with working 48 to sometimes 60 hours a week. My plan is to get back to what I love doing and that is CRAFTING! Making primitive wood items and cards. I plan on teaming up with my mom this year and selling our stuff at the neighborhood flea market. I cant wait! Talk to you soon!

Sorry to all my followers. I havent posted anything in awhile. Ive kinda left the scrapbooking and card making behind alittle and started my crafts up again. Valentines Day Gift

I went shopping with my mom this weekend and I wanted to get something special for my sons preschool teachers. I found these containers at Jo Ann Fabrics and I ended up filling it with Chocolate Kisses and anti-bacterial hand gel from Bath and Body Works (luv that place).

The stamp I used happy heart day I bought for a dollar at Jo Anns . The ribbon is from Stampin Up! The border punches are from ek success. I think I got 7 or 8 they were 40% off. I used Sweethearts cricut cartridge for the heart and xo. I luv Valentines Day and I luv making people feel special.

Peachy Keen Challenge!

This challenge you were to follow a sketch and use monochromatic colors. I had this space stamp set from Stampendous and havent used it yet (Ive had it for awhile) so thinking of Valentines Day I used it as "Your planet or mine" I picked blue as my colors and used everything blue from the ink to the chalk and used gray from the circles and the flying saucer.

Scrappy Moms Stamps Tuesday Challenge

This is a card I made for the scrappy moms stamps challenge. I used the Kiss Me cricut cut from the Sweethearts cartridge. Yes I waited till the last minute to do this card. I had ideas but my mind went blank at the last minute. This is just a little simple card I think turned out just fine. There are so many different things to do with this cartridge it was hard to pick just one.

My Pink Stamper Challenge "Yummy"

Robyn over at http://www.mypinkstamper.com is having a Challenge make something thats Yummy.I just love me some apples with peanut butter. YUM-YUM! There were so many things yummy to make on the cricut but I had a craving for apples and peanut butter, so I made this card.

I actually had time to do a layout of our dogs. Angel my princess who is spoiled 24/7 and coco who barks non stop. I love my dogs but I hate the dog hair. After these two are gone I will not have anymore dogs that shed!

My Pink Stamper Birthday Challenge

Hello everyone! Robyn over at http://www.mypinkstamper.com is having a birthday challenge.
I used the clown from the paper dolls cartridge. White and green card stock. Im on a stripe kick.. Most of my cards lately have stripes on them. Weird. The clown size is 3 3/4. Im trying to get some layouts going but I go to start and I find I have to do something else. So hopefully I can post a few layouts soon.

Flaunt it Fridays Challenge

Recycle "It Matters"..

The challenge was to use the cricut cartridge Give a Hoot! Using the bear in the trash can or any other cut that was close related. Making this card made me realize that my family doesn't recycle enough. I catch myself throwing away pop cans, 2 liter bottles, my son's juice bottles and everything else that can be recycled. I even have a recycle bin for the curb. Tonight's trash night and I can get alot of things ready for recycle.
My card is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4
the cricut cuts are 2 inches if i remember right
I chalked around most of the edges for a shadow look
