Halloween

Halloween was awesome! In case you all didn't already know exactly how incredible we Taylors are we(the kids) dressed up as Disney's superhero family the Incredibles in particular Kennedy was Violet and David was Dash. We had multiple celebrations this year which included a visit with Papa and Cassie dog.





This is at Kennedys Kindergarten parade. She was president for the day and got to be first in line behind her teacher Mrs. Wells

Birthday Boy!

Long time ago in a month that has come and gone our sweet little boy had a birthday! David turned 3 nearly a month and half ago and now that he has really settled into his new age i feel it is the perfect time to share with you a few pictures from the monumentous occasion.

Once again he was spoiled beyond need. He acquired a very cool Bumble Bee Transformer Mask, His very own Red Ryder Scooter, Super fast racing motorcycles and a Batman superhero









The biggest Surprise of the day was seeing Papa. He gave David this very cool dump truck. Thanks Papa!


Thank you to everyone who came to help us celebrate our Bubba. He is such a smart, loving, sweet, hilarious intricate part of our family and are glad you were able to be part of his special day.

Jaxon Owen Taylor

Here he is our sweet little Jaxon is finally here! He was born on Wednesday September 9, 2009 at 7:27pm. He weighed 6lbs 15oz. (our smallest) and is 19 3/4 inches long. We are all doing great and slowly adjusting to life as a family of 5!

Here he is about an hour after he was born. (Thank you Grandpa/ma Moody for being there to help catch the first few minutes)

I have been meaning to update this in order but seeing that our family is growing and time isn't slowing down we are just going to have to settle for a bit of random so lets begin shall we?

As a potty training incentive David earned a spiderman umbrella and he took his reward very seriously.


These next few are a combination of a couple of our favorite things in the whole world. 1) Dressing up as superheros in particular the INCREDIBLEs and 2) Spending time with a few of our favorite people... i speak of none other than the Hogans.






And last but most definitely not the least is Kennedys first day of Kindergarten. Dave said she walked right in like she had done this before. I am so proud of her and excited for this new adventure she gets to experience.

SOOO..... our sweet baby girl turned 5 during my blogging absence and I can't even believe it! She has grown up so much in the last year. She has become quite the swimmer over the summer, gained a little more confidence and lost a bit of her timid-ness. She loves to learn and has become more willing to try new things. She's an amazing help to our family, an excellent big sister. We are so grateful to get to be her parents and are excited for all the new memories we get to share with her. That said we had a few of her friends help us celebrate at Kangaroo Zoo.

We had a second ultrasound last week to check in and see how things are looking. The baby is doing great he is measuring perfect and just keeps growing and we are told is about 2.5 pounds already.

The last 9(I know, i can hardly believe it myself) years with the most amazing person I know!

Messy Face!

I finally got brave and tried a Gluten-free cake mix so David could have some cup cakes! He was so excited to be able to lick the beaters that I just had to share.

31!

Dave turned 31 at the beginning of June! We celebrated by going out to breakfast (which is one of his favorite things to do), taking a long undisturbed nap (another favorite) and then we had planned to go Cherry Hill but the weather did not agree so we went swimming at the Rec. center instead. Then He and I went to Benihanna for dinner and then to a movie (favorite #3) he picked the movie which was Drag Me to Hell (that alone should tell you how much i love him.) Another favorite of Dave's is cheesecake so i tried my hand at making one. You know the saying looks can be deceiving? well that rings true here. It looked really good and the crust was awesome but the filling not so much maybe next year!

Things I love about Dave:

He is just plain fun
He is outgoing
He is One of the hardest working people I know
He doesn't take himself to seriously
He Loves to learn
He goes above and beyond to take care of me and our family
Family is a priority to him
He is a bit of a prankster
He loves the gospel
He is always tries to make himself a better person.

Pre-school graduation

Kennedy graduated from Pre-school! We are so proud of her and all the things she has learned over the past year. She made some great friends and her teachers we awesome. Besides learning the letters and their sounds Kennedy learned about things i would have never thought to teach her myself. She learned all about Martin Luther King and the President of the United States just to name of few! She is growing up so fast. Kindergarten here she comes!

California 2009 part: 3

After 4 very busy full days we decided to take a day to just relax. So... we spent an afternoon at Fashion Island mall where the kiddos scored big!




Grandma Kristi treated them each to a new Build-A-Bear!


So without further delay please welcome Rainbow and Bubba bear!


Then it was back to Disneyland the next day.

Kennedy REALLY wanted to go on the Tea Cups so being the awesome guys they are Grandpa and Dave went for a spin!


A successful trip to California must include a day at the beach and Kennedy wasted no time digging right in.


Baby steps. Last year David wanted nothing to do with any part of the beach but this year we had a minor improvement. He didn't mind the beach as long as he didn't have to deal with the water! He got very close to it but never in it!

California 2009 part:2

What better way to bounce back from a very long day than to see some smiling familiar faces! Grandma Kristi and Grandpa Bruce met us in Anaheim and we got right to the fun stuff. We spent Mothers Day at the happiest place on earth and had the greatest day ever!
