Emily girl is 1! And other happenings :)

I've pretty much given up on this blog. Really... You should find me on Facebook. I update there a ton :) But here is a super quick photo update. Both kids are asleep. Which is amazing. I think this must be what heaven is like. Lol.

I can't believe Emily is 1! I've never loved anything so much in my life. She is my first little love. Here are some pictures if her 1 year old photo shoot by my friend christy brown. I love these pictures!














I really am so lucky to be her mom! Christy also took these adorable pictures:






Brigham will be 3 months old this weekend. Saturday also marks 1 year being in boston!

We had a fun little party for emily with a few friends and family. My dad was in town which was fun.













We just love when my dad visits! If only San Diego was closer!










David loves to help me by cuddling with brigham!




My sister Laura also had her 4th boy, John. I've only seen him a few times...which is terrible because they only live a mile away! It's just hard taking my 2 kids to her place and hope they will be good so I can hold him. And now we all have colds. But I love him and his beautiful hair!

I really feel like one lucky girl to have these two kiddos! Some days seem boring, crazy and messy... But I really have wished to be a mom my whole life. So as crazy as it is sometimes, I wouldn't change a thing. Both kids both have such a unique way of coming to our family!

This years tree...

David and I go to home depot every year and get a Christmas tree. This year as we were getting ready to go I just couldn't help but think of how getting a tree was really going to make my life harder. But I didn't want to not get a tree! Miss emily is kinda into everything and would love to pull on ornaments and eat the tree. :) so I decided that I wanted a small tree this year. And I love it. We will probably do the same thing next year for when Brigham boy is at the same exploring age :) now I just need stocking for both my babes first Christmas!

Phone photo dump...

Here are just a few recent pictures. Just love my babes! My dad was here for a week (bless him) and now my mom is visiting. Brigham bear is two weeks old today and I'm starting to feel a ton better! Long story short (that I will share one day)...my 17 hours of labor, 3 hours of pushing, my epidural wearing off, forceps and level 3 tearing...meant I needed some extra recovery time! I've spent most of the last two weeks laying on bed with Brigham. But I'm on the up and up and doing well! And I think Emily has enjoyed the special attention from grandparents and play dates!
