Henderson Girls Trip May 2018

I made plans to take the girls down to Henderson to visit Micah and Kenzy and girls, and it coincided with the end of a work trip of Dave's, so we left him behind - ha!  The girls and I had an absolute blast!!

And the dreaded Maggie poop of 2018....

I never thought I'd dive for poop - but alas I did!  And I roped my kids into it as well! ha ha!

Maggie was potty training, but not poop trained, so the whole time there I did the 3 layers to be safe.  Well this was our last evening there and I seriously debated putting her in the pool or not, but last minute decided what the heck.  Well I dumbly only put on a swim diaper this time (smacking my head), and after 10-15 minutes Kennedy yelled out "EWW!! Maggie pooped!"  It had spread floaters throughout he pool!  UGH!!  I got her out and cleaned up, then laid her down for bed.  Kenzy sprayed everything down and grabbed what poop she could front the edge of the pool, then I put my suit on and recruited my girls.  We couldn't truly pick it all up, but we tried ;)

Kenzy and Micah were SO NICE about it!  I felt so embarrassed, but the pool guy told them what to do and luckily it could be "shocked" out of the pool.  Phew!!

It was a trip for the books!! LOL!

Kennedy's Publishing Party

We have love, love, loved Kennedy's first grade teacher this year!  She threw a publishing party for the class and I got to take Maggie to go see Kennedy's book:

2nd Grade Egg Drop May 2018

It's been an exciting time at school for our girls, this time Brooklyn designed something to protect an egg - her and her Dad worked well together and I think she had a ton of fun dropping it at school with her class!

Everyone thought for sure her egg was a goner by the sound of a box dropping, but she and her dad had suspended it inside the box and it survived!!

I was so excited I could take all my girlies to this super cute RS activity in May!

These are the 2 "Kennedy's" (both spelled different though) and they sure love each other!

Mother's Day 2018

I literally asked on Facebook ideas for Mother's Day food and my friends delivered!  I ended up making a yummy quiche, my neighbor gave me the recipe for, and grabbed a giant cinnamon roll from Bishop's Grill - one of my favorite breakfast places with my besties.

Dave and the girls surprised me with an EZ Up! I was so excited!! It was a great day!
