Kohl apparently fell asleep while praying last night...at least that is how Bri looks when she falls asleep while praying:)

Being a Mom

Is wonderful, challenging, special, and something I think is a privilege. I love being a mother and am grateful to be one. The love I feel for Kohl is more powerful and strong then I ever thought possible. I'm grateful for the many examples I've had of wonderful mother's.

For Mother's Day, Dev took me out to dinner. But actual Mother's Day doing what I love most, spending time with my boys. Oh how I love them. Oh, and Kohl's first tooth popped up today!

Kohl is 7 months!

Wow, our little boy is 7 months already! We fall more in love with this little guy every day. I'm SO grateful and lucky that I have the opportunity to stay home be with him every day, I love it!

This month Kohl:

-loves his tounge

-thinks carrots and apples are his favorite food

-despises green beans and gives a disgusted look with every bite

-loves to jump all the time

-thinks swinging is awesome

-has a fascination with knocking the hand sanitizer over every time his diaper is changed

-gets SO excited when Dev comes home

The other day I sat him in his rocking chair while I was putting away his laundry. I looked up and this was how he was sitting. It made me smile.

Fun with Friends

Our friends Jill, Tevya and Colter came down for a little visit, and we loved it! One of the things we did was take them to a neat little park in St. George so they could overlook the city. People are also biking and rock climbing in parts of this park, it's neat. I love this little park is because of it's pretty view of the city.

Swingy Swongy

We took Kohl to the park on Saturday, and he loved it! He had a huge grin on his face (except in the pictures). He loved swinging and couldn't get enough of it...now if mommy and daddy can just learn to share taking turns pushing the little guy:)

Girls week in CHICAGO!

Jo and I went to Chicago for a girls week, and it was a blast! It was my first time away from Kohl for more than a day. It was really weird to be without him and responsibilities. Our girls week consisted of the necessities: yummy food, shopping, chick flicks, goodies, and late nights. Seeing Chicago for the first time was neat. I would love to live by a big city for a few reasons but mostly the amazing shopping there is! For some reason St. George just doesn't do it in that area:) I loved the adventure but it was SO good to get my hands on my little boy again!
