The Fashion Beard (not to be confused with The Dad Beard, or our masculine gay friend Beard)
My hubby often likes to experiment with this look (not pictured). The phases of the Fashion Beard go as follows; Week one, painful for me. Week two, the beard has soften and we're both pretty happy. Week three, itchy for him. Week four, intensely itchy for him. Week five, The Fashion Beard is gone, and we start the process all over again!

This has to be one of my favorite outfits I've seen so far this fall. Normally I wouldn't be so into brown leather jacket with brown leather boots, but for some reason this is really working for her. Maybe the browns are just different enough from eachother? Maybe that little plaid dress and those cream leggings are so good that the brown leathers don't even matter any more? I'm not really sure, but I like it!

It's interesting when you see someone who's style has been the same since junior high. They like what they like, and every once in awhile the trends sync up with them and they look around and realize that everyone's wearing flannel button downs and jean jacket vests. Sorry dudes, this will pass.

This picture explains Seattle weather very well; it's just cold enough to wear a fur hooded coat, but not cold enough to wear socks! (also, it's really hard to see from the picture, but she's holding a Peter Rabbit book. Too cute!)

I know that lately this blog has been featuring mostly ladies, I'm not choosing to leave the dudes out, it's just kind of happening. Sorry boys. So from this point on I am making a deliberate effort to bring the guys back in the picture, literally.
