Shoulder Rides

Daniel loves to give Mayzie shoulder rides and she loves that he does it! He hauls her all around the house and has so much fun:)

Pretty Nails

Mayzie painted her own nails the other day and she was so proud of herself. Isabelle had some fingernail polish for kids that peels off easily, so that was the best part:)

Another Lesson

Well I made it through another lesson. I thought this one was going to be hard, but it ended up being one that I really enjoyed. It was on Sustaining those whom the Lord Sustains. I have learned a lot already in the last few weeks while preparing for these lessons and it is amazing how the Lord really does guide you by the spirit. I never thought I would be able to stand up and teach women with so much more knowledge and wisdom than me, but as I have done it, I have realized that it is not just me, I am being led. Which I am so grateful for! When they first asked me to do this I was so scared and so unsure that I could do it, but as they set me apart, I felt the spirit so strong and knew that I was called for a reason and that I could do it. (even though I am so terrified every time:) I love music and have always love the spirit it brings to the room. So I have decided that I would have a song every time I teach. I feel like I can be a better teacher after a musical number, because the spirit has filled the room. This time I had Gracie sing and she did a great job! I was so proud of her! I know that I will get better the more I do it and I hope that I can reach people. I have 4 weeks until the next one........but for now I am enjoying the break:)

The Crash

Gracie had her first 4 wheeler accident. Hopefully she won't have another one! She was driving with Jamie, Sage, and Whittley. They were all singing and goofing around and went too fast around a turn and it tipped over. The handle bar came down on her hand. The rest of the girls got a few scratches, but were all OK. Gracie said that right after it happened they all said a prayer that they would be OK. I love that they thought to pray! It looks pretty bad, but nothing is broken. I am so thankful that they all are safe! Gracie keeps saying how bad she feels about the whole thing. I think she learned her lesson! Last night I had Slade come over and give her a blessing. He brought Colter with him. They did a great job! I am so thankful for the priesthood! It is such a blessing to have it! I know she will heal faster now! Her arm looks better this morning:)

Bundy Spring Party

We had so much fun at our Bundy Spring party this year! It is usually around Easter time, but we had it a little early this year! The kids all had a blast and so did the adults:) I love spending time with family! Most of our family came the night before and camped out. It got a little chilly at night, but the kids all slept warm. We had a great time!!

Dad slept outside with the kids that wanted to. He layed out a big tarp and all the kids lined up. They had so much fun sleeping with grandpa!

Dr. Seuss Week

We had so much fun dressing up for Dr. Seuss week! Daniel is Sally's brother from Cat in the Hat, Leah is a Who from the Grinch, and Gracie is Sally from Cat in the Hat. Fun stuff!!

Yesterday they wore hats and tomorrow they are going to wear PJ's, they love this stuff!

The Lorax

We took the kids to see the movie Lorax. It was in 3d and was the first time we had been to one. They all loved it! One of Vern and I's favorite part was looking over at the kids and seeing thier reaction to the picture jumping out. It was such a fun experience! I love spending time together!

Horse

Gracie was playing the horse and pulling Mayzie around in a basket. She loved it!It's great to have older sisters!

Nylons

The kids were playing around with nylons one day and were having all sorts of fun! It is so funny to see what they look like:) These ones were falling apart, so they didn't work that great, but it was still fun!

Wild Hair

My kids have some pretty wild hair in the morning sometimes. I love it!
It's hard to see, but her hair was sticking straight up!

Chickens

Our chickens just roam around the yard during the day and the kids love to watch them. Mayzie is not sure of them yet..
We are getting about 10-15 eggs a day!

Valentines Day

We had a quiet Valentines day this year. Vern wasn't home, so the kids and I had chocolate covered strawberries and watched a movie. Vern and I went out on the weekend and it was nice!
