Tuesday Night Ice Cream Truck

Our street started enjoying dinner together before the ice cream truck delivers dessert.  The first time we did pizza, salad, etc…

Tonight Doug pulled the grill into the front yard and we grilled burgers and hot dogs for all of our friends/neighbors to enjoy!  What a fun street we live on!  xo! 

Friday Family Fun Night, In & Out Burgers

Daddy was traveling all week on business and flew in just in time to celebrate Friday Family Fun Night!

We decided a mellow dinner at In & Out would be fun and then the rain came rolling in - you know TX is in a serious drought so rain is an answered prayer!  Thank you Lord!

Then onto a friends birthday party - Movie Night theme where we ate popcorn and cake and the kids ran around with friends- good night, good memories!

AH&LA, Washington DC

This was our second year to attend the AH&LA summit in Washington DC

 Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell addressed the group, then Doug was able to visit with him afterward on industry issues...

 & later was interviewed by Hotels News Now

 here we are in the Capitol building waiting for a scheduled appointment.  We met with 6 offices to bring attention to issues that are arising within the Hotel Industry that need to attention from our Congress. 

& major THANK YOU to Nonnie for coming to stay with the kids which allows us to travel together.  Last year Honey came and this year Nonnie - we are blessed to have supportive family who love on our kids in our absence.  xoxo!

To say Dane loves his "Frog Boots" is an understatement so when our sweet friends moved in around the corner and brought Dane a gift of new frog boots he was super excited!!  After he received the new boots, he told me the old ones have a hole in the bottom - I said I didn't even know…he said "I know, I didn't tell you". haha!

Eden will wait in line for up to 30 minutes for the big swing.  Kids often cut in front of her and say "she can go in the baby swing".  She may be 2 but she wants the big swing these days.  She even knows how to pump her legs to keep it going...
