Family Snap shots

I needed an UPDATED family picture for this years family calendar. So we rushed to town and had my sis in law take a few snap shots! They turned out very cute and we only had to freeze for 3 minutes. Not Bad!!!

CARS

Kamrie and Taylor had a Daddy/Daughter date and had to make a cardboard car to "race". It was like an obstacle coarse where they had different pit stops like "you drank to much root beer, walk toe to toe for 10 steps, ect. We decided to make some fun ones from the movie cars. Keagan thought they were so fun that he needed Lightning McQueen and then I decided that Kyler would need one to. So with a few cans of spray paint, duck-tape and a little creativity, we came up with Fillmore, Mater, Lighting McQueen and Guido! The kids loved them and looked SO CUTE!!!

Bubbles

We bought a "bubble blower" in Disneyland for Kyler. I must say one of the best inventions ever!!! He LOVED it and tried to catch the bubbles in his mouth. Yuck!

Keagan's First try at Soccer

Keagan was a GREAT little soccer player! It took him a few games to get the hang of it, but when he did, he would always get the ball and score! It was SO fun to watch. Several little 6-7 year olds and a soccer ball are HILARIOUS!!!

Kamrie turns 11

It's so crazy to think that my little girl is 11 already! She is such a huge helper to her Mom and Dad. She is maturing so fast and already thinks she needs a cell phone and to wear make-up. I compromised, she can wear mascara and lip-gloss and she still has to use "the KIDS" cell phone when she needs one. I love you so much Kamers!

More pics of our new house

It's kind of been crazy the last couple months but we are LOVING our new home. A few people have requested to see some pictures of the inside so here they are. We have many plans for decorating and a little updating too! We have decided to give a "room makeover" to everyone for their birthdays and then work on the living rooms, ect after that. We can't wait to get started!

Pioneer Day Parade

We went to the Pioneer Day parade up in St. Anthony with Grandpa Erickson, Nathan, Tiffany, Maycee and Taylor's friend Cala. It was a lot of fun and we got yummy candy!

Erickson Reunion

For the Erickson Family Reunion this year we went to Lava Hot springs. We swam, sat in the hot pools, played games, spent time with family and ate lots of yummy food.

Flood Arrogating

My father-in-law and I had never arrogated our pasture before and Drew was gone so it was up to us. Apparently we know what NOT to do now! We'll do better next time! But the kids sure had fun splashing and playing in the water!

Cute Little Slimy Slamanders

Keagan caught these slimy little critters under the house in the crawl space. He was so proud of himself. And even though he wanted to keep them all, Mom made him put them back. I know I'm MEAN! :(

Kyler LOVES to play outside

Kyler LOVES to play outside! His favorite is the sand box or anything to do with water. And he usually has his best buddy "Duke" right along with him.

Independence Day

Christensen Reunion Supter OR

We had a great time in Sumpter Oregon at the Christensen Reunion. It's an old mining town and so beautiful! We stayed in a nice little cabin and drove the 4-wheelers all over town and in the mountains. There were probably more people driving 4-wheelers around then cars. The Christensen's (Mom-in-law's side of the family) have a large camp spot right by the river in Sumpter where they meet every year. There are RV hook ups a shower/bath building, a pavilion that's equipped with a full kitchen. It even has a pop corn machine, hot cocoa machine and added this year, a soft serve ice cream machine! It was a LONG drive to get there, but is sure was fun when we arrived. It was great to see everyone!

Canning Salsa

I had never before canned anything and decided to try my hand at a batch of Salsa. With a few phone calls to more experienced friends and a little help from my friend Linda, it turned out delish!

Father's Day

We had a BBQ at our house for Father's Day. It was fun to hang out with family and watch the kids play. However, my kids sure did miss their Daddy that day. He was gone to work. We did get to talk to him on the phone and enjoyed a fun day with family and Grandpas.

Our New House

This month of May has been SO CRAZY!!! Along with the many year end school projects, plays, reports, ect for school, we have had a dance comp. in Pocatello and Lagoon and year end recital. Drew has also moved jobs to North Dakota and has also hauled to Colorado, Montana and New Mexico. And last but certainly not least, we bought a home and are moving in next week! WHEW! I am so glad that school is over and can't wait to move in to our new home! It is a 5 bedroom 2 bath home on almost 4 acres. It has a barn for my animals, a green house, a shed for starage, a shed for the camper & trailer ect. a garden, and is everything we dreamed of. We have waited a long time for the perfect one to come along. Everything has gone so smoothly with the purchase of this home. We are very excited! We'll have to have everyone over for a BBQ this summer after we get settled in!
