Tuesday

It was a nice and busy weekend in the Fort. Friday, K was visiting from NY so had dinner in Cheyenne with his family and then we came back here and went out with some friends of mine. On Saturday went to a lovely baby shower for one of the SnB girls at K's house. K did a wonderful job organizing and hosting the shower. I especially enjoyed stenciling the onesies; a great idea for future baby showers and other parties--I made the one with the pink frog (K's design, my painting) and the one with the dragonfly/evil moth (my design and painting). The rest of the weekend was spent doing errands and relaxing, including buying the most awesome Halloween costume ever (cowgirl, pink gingham) and knitting a hat for a baby I'll see next week in ATL. Snow is in the forecast for today--it's only October!

Life has been quiet the past couple of weeks, in a good way, but quiet. Thought I'd post some photos: Zelda "wearing" a baby hat that I knit for a friend's baby (note my arm holding the hat on), said baby hat, and Zelda in her new favorite hangout, the dryer.

I'm Here

I'm back in CO again. Spent the past week catching up on sleep, playing with Zelda, recovering my stomach after a nasty bout of dysentery while in Tanzania. The trip was great but it's really nice to be back here again.
