Back in the land of Utah

Well hello all my friends and neighbors!
As many of you know, I am now a graduate from The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. Yep I'm a pro!
Well before moving back from Boston, my long lost brother from Iceland, Hakon Bjarnason, gave me a nice little visit in Boston. For those of you who don't know, Hakon (pronounced Howkahn) was our foreign exchange student in Texas for a year. We then drove across America to the state of Utah. It took a good 3 days but it was dang fun. As soon as we arrived in Utah, my sister Sara called me and said we couldn't come home yet, cause there was going to be a surprise for us. So Hakon and I went to a local church and rested in the grass. As you can see below, Hakon enjoys church lawns very much!
So that was fun. Sara and her friend were putting balloons in the trees! It was beautiful. Since I've been home, I've gone to my nephews Birthday party, Sadie and Sara's Birthday party and Sally's Lone Peak High School Graduation. It was "World Class"!!

Also Hakon and I went down to Las Vegas. While we were there we visited our awesome friends, Ryan and Tammy Matthews and their kids Sydney, Cara and Cameron. We got to do a little photo shoot! Here are just a few!

PERU!!

Hey guys,
I'm back in the USA! Actually wasn't that excited to come back. But I am excited to continue with photography. I had a blast in Peru! The pictures I've posted are what the organization Esperanza Peru will use as a changing banner on their website. Hope ya'll enjoy!

Also just wanted to let you all know about the new book, THE REVOLUTION: A MANIFESTO. I'm sure you guessed it. It's Ron Paul's new book!!!! It's full of all kinds of fun facts about our Constitution, Personal Freedom and Civil Liberties. Quite frankly we're losing all of those very quickly and I DON'T WANT THAT!! I LOVE FREEDOM!!!!! Well if you have any interest in learning about why are freedoms are at a huge risk, I would recommend this book to anyone! It's short and true! I've really enjoyed learning about our nation and what makes/made it so great!

Well hope ya'll are all doing great! I graduate from CDIA on May 17th!! Also my Mama's Birthday!! I should have my website within a week or so. Happy Day!

After a long and unnecessary absense, I'm back!

Hello friends, family and neighbors!
So as you may have noticed, I haven't posted anything in a very long time. Me so bad. But it's all good.... I'M BAAAACK!! ha ha ha. Before I continue, here's a picture I just took of myself with my mac at the Fort Lauderdale, Florida International Airport. I'm tired.....
So that's me. Hi.
Well life is just great. I have a 7 hour layover here in the lovely airport. But I am actually on my way to a place that I hold very dear to my heart and soul. It's a little place known as Peru! Yep, I'm heading off to Peru to do my final project for school! I'm going to work with a non-profit called Esperanza Peru (Hope Peru). They work with children who come from extreme poverty situations in the Andes Mountains. They help them adjust into society through reading and writing and all kinds of good stuff. So I'm going to take some pictures for them. They need new images for their website. Also I'm going to take some landscape shots to decorate the housing units for the volunteers. I'll also be redesigning their logo, incorporating my images! I can't wait. As most of you know, I served my mission in Peru. I got back about 3 years ago. After I finish with the project, I'll hopefully have time to visit some friends and families from the la misión! So that's what I'm doing now.
I've actually had a great trip so far. Last night, Sarah, friend from school, picked me up around 1:00 am. Then we picked up Katasha, also friend from school, and we went to the International House of Pancakes! I got chocolate pancakes with chocolate chips! Mmmmmm. Then they took me to the airport. I was disgustingly tired and don't really remember wha happen! Well once I got to the airport, I waited and slept. I've chosen to fly to Peru with the famous Spirit Airlines! You know you've heard of them. Long story short, Spirit airlines actually charges you 20 dollars for each bag you check. I just have one. I think that Fung-Wah buses and Spirit Airlines are sister companies. Both have great customer service! But I'm not complaining, it's dang cheap!
Well as for the rest of my days, when I get back from Peru, April 30th, I'll start getting ready for graduation, which is on May 17th (also my mama's birthday!). My mama and Jim are coming out for that! Then I'm pretty sure that Hakon, my Icelandic brother, is coming to Boston to drive with me across the United States of America. Then I'll be in Utah for a while and then I'll be moving to the "land of enchantment". None other than the great state of NEW MEXICO!!!! I just figured I'd keep on moving up! Actually I'll be moving to Santa Fe (Holy Faith). It's kinda the motherland of photographers in the west. I want to assist for a couple of years, so it should be a great place for that! Well amigos, I best be going.

howdy folks!! long time no blogging! well i've been pretty busy lately. we had a wedding class a couple weeks ago and last week was photojournalism. i did a project on the freedom trail. i originally had plans to do a story on refugees from iraq. but that didn't go through so i was stuck with the freedom trail. however in the end, i'm pleased with it and this week we're learning final cut pro to make it into a documentary. today i just got back from downtown interviewing people on the freedom trail. it was hilarious. most people didn't want to talk to me, but i got some hilarious clips to use as audio on my project.

last week i had the privilege to have sadie and jared visit me in boston! we had tons of fun. it worked out great, cause i was able to do my freedom trail project and they followed me around. i didn't have much class time. we also went to new york city over the weekend, it was great, but the highlight was definitely the lion king broadway. it doesn't get much better. they left yesterday and are now in istanbul, turkey! i miss 'em, but we had dang fun. well hope ya'll enjoy my pics.

hey guys! well as you all know, i've never been that "involved" with politics. me no understand. but now that the elections are coming up, i've been trying very hard to decide who i'm gonna vote for! i don't consider myself a republican nor a democrat. i'm just want to vote for whoever best stands for what i believe. well after watching many debates and lots of youtube videos on some of the candidates, one has really stood out to me and i thought i would share him with everyone! i haven't heard that much about this guy on tv or the news, but he's got a huge internet support group.
his name is mista Ron Paul!! (actually it's doctor)
don't judge him by his party affiliation. he's more considered a "libertarian" or "constitutionalist". you may be surprised at what he stands for. i was sure surprised and i'm actually surprised to say that i support him!!!

well hello everyone! welcome to my blog. i just got back from the gym. i practice sports. anyways, this is my first time ever to "blog". me likey! i don't really know what to write here. i don't even know where it's gonna go.
but i guess i'll tell ya'll about this week. this week was fashion week!! oooooooooh aaaaaaaaaaah! yep, i took pictures of supermodels! it was dang fun. once i get some pics edited i'll post them, so you all can enjoy my models!
