Elena

Elena is saying new words everyday. She now say's wa-wa, when she wants a drink. She continues to say thank-you when she is given something. She has been sleeping in ever morning until at least 9. I don't remember any of the kids doing that. I am certainly not complaining!

Guess who lost a tooth!

My tooth fell out! And I got money from the tooth fairy! I love to go to school. I like to go to sea world.

Ethan

I bought some pokemon cards with raquaza level x. I am planning on getting more pokemon cards with regigegas level x, garchomp level x, and gliscor level x.

Every week at school on Thurdays we do time tests (math problems). I am getting lot's better in gymnastics.

Joshua's disappointments

I bought a new game, and found out that it doesn't work on my nintendo ds! I'm thinking about selling it. I am also thinking about buying a gameboy. There are several games that are like that. I need them to complete my pokedex.

Yesterday my football game got cancelled. It didn't rain, but it still got cancelled! So I had some fun at my house, and I am going to wait for the next game.

Busy Beaver

Football started yesterday. I learned about quick slants, middle slants, and defense. I thought it was awesome.

I am also on the chess team. I've played in a couple of tournaments, and I'm practicing. I have seen improvements. It's really fun.

I am also in gymnastics. I am starting to do some of the harder tricks. I think it is a lot of fun.

I am also involved in ctv. (Our schools tv broadcast.) I've been making some pictures to represent fall to go on ctv.

I am now a bear in cub scouts. I've been doing activities, and am trying to do all my requirements to get my bear badge. I really like cub scouts.

DS woes

Ethan had a good time at daddy's goodbye ceremony. Of course anything with a moon bounce is worth going to! He just informed me that the moon bounce was not the only thing worth going for, but all the time in the car to play his DS made it really worthwhile. (Seeing daddy was great too!)

Ethan has been working really hard to speed up his writing. The last 2 weeks, he has only had to go to study hall once. (before that, it was every day) His teacher even sent a note home saying he was one of the first ones done with his morning work.

Ethan has lost his DS. (somewhere in the house) This has been a very sad time, but he has started playing on the CW 4 kids on the computer instead.

Kindergarten and Climbing

Rebecca had fun playing on the tank at Daddy's unit.

Kindergarten is so much fun. Rebecca is reading quite well. (She is reading along as I am writing. Only missing a few words.) She has made quite a few friends, and really enjoys school. Her favorite thing to do is to swing really high on the swings at recess.

She climbed all the way to the top of the small side of the rock wall at the YMCA.

Our Army Baby

After a long day at the goodbye ceremony for Daddy's unit, Elena had about had it. Daddy's hat was a good distraction.

She now can say her name (Nena), and she runs away from mommy every chance she gets. (we are working on that)

Today the kids were supposed to pick up the chess board and pieces that were all over the room. For whatever reason, (I can't imagine why) they were less than excited about it. At some point the baby picked up the bag and started putting chess pieces in. So long as the kids clapped for her, she continued. It didn't take long before all of the pieces were picked up. The kids think that they have a great new solution for cleaning up! Hmmm....
