It's been a while since I last saw this video,by Those Dancing Days which I fell in love with. But really a while, maybe a year, I found it through Black Eiffel. It just makes me happy, the song is very catchy, and the girls just keep jumping, having fun. It is until now that I find out who directed it, Daniel Eskils, so beautiful photography too. Have fun fun!...

You hear some music, and find it familiar, how could it be? this colorful frames, characters in illustration, fun lines and colors, and still very true stories. A lovely way to promote a song, this is the new single of U2, "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight".
Directed by David OReilly, who used the songs themes and lyrics to create multiple, parallel stories about people who decide to make a change in their lives. Enjoy!.

In the Moment

So, the King of Pop is gone. My best friend Ivette sent me these pictures, her dad happen to be in New York at that time, so he took some pictures of the beloved Apollo Theater and it's homage to Michael. I cherish this pics so deeply, not only for what they represent, but because of the one person who was behind the camera at that moment, in that place. Thanks Mr. T! You are definitively one of my true icons.

El Rey del Pop se ha ido. Mi mejor amiga, Ivette, me mandó estas fotos, su padre estaba en New York cuando pasó, y por sugerencia de su preciosa hija fue al querido Apollo Theater a hacer fotos, aprovechando el homenaje a Michael. Guardo estas fotos con mucho cariño no solo por su contenido, sino por la persona detrás de la cámara en ese momento, en ese lugar. ¡Gracias Sr. T! es usted definitivamente uno de mis íconos.

Window Films

Finally got the time to put the gorgeus Emma Jeffs window film that I purchased last month. I'm redecorating our sudio, or I must say, the little corner that we have for it, we have so much stuff, lots of organizing and cleaning. Well better late than never!, one step done, now we can enjoy the light in our living room. It is so beautiful!.

Finalmente he podido poner el film para ventanas de Emma Jeffs que compré el mes pasado. Estoy en proceso de decoración de nuestro estudio, más bien del pequeño rincón de casa que utilizamos para ello. Hay tantas cosas que organizar y limpiar, al menos he completado ya una tarea. Ha quedado precioso! Ahora podemos disfrutar de la hermosa luz en nuestro salón.

Laptop Club

I got to the office this morning and did the usual, grabbed a cup of coffee and started my daily look into my favorite blogs, usually I take some minutes to explore and look for new concepts, inspiration, gorgeous work from great designers.
After bumping from link to link I found this article about the Laptop Club. So fancy, what is it? a bunch of e-profesionals with sophisticated machines, a mac air user maybe?. Well, no, this club members are from seven to nine years old, and they don't use any computer for their activities.
This is a program from one school, they create their own laptops with construction paper and pretend to email each other. I was amazed with the buttons they drew, I mean one even put an HP trivia key (Harry Potter), a Math key, Movies, of course shop key, one drew an ipod (this is my favorite! imagine a laptop with an ipod in the keyboard!).
I'm always amazed about the capability of kids, they're so sensitive they learn so much, so quickly, so in this internet life, we most click to the ON mode our parental key and keep up with them.

Esta mañana llegué a la ofi y empecé mi rutina, una taza de café y estoy lista! Me tomo unos minutos para explorar la web, paseo por mis blogs favoritos y de enlace en enlace, colecciono sitios que me sirven de inspiración.
Así llegué a ver un artículo sobre el Laptop Club. Qué es? Un grupo de profesionales con equipo sofisticado? Usuarios "mac air" tal vez? Pues no, este grupo está formado por niños de entre siete y nueve años.
Como parte de un programa, una escuela primaria reúne a estos pequeños para hacer su propio ordenador portátil, sin otra herramineta que el papel de color. Una vez creado, pretenden enviarse e-mails.
Quedé impresionada con la selección de teclas que dibujaron, uno puso inlcuso una tecla HP trivia (Harry Potter); botón de matemáticas, botón de compras (claro!), otro puso un ipod (este es mi favorito! imagínense una laptop con un ipod en el teclado!).
Constantemente me sorprende la habilidad que tienen los niños para aprender y demostrar su versión de las cosas, no solo es creativa sino también muy original. Creo que en esta vida con internet debemos activar la opción parental de nuestro teclado y seguirles el paso (muy de cerca).
