The "Spot"

This is the spot where Jeremy proposed to me. This obviously isn't the night, but we came back to exact place. It's now all lit up for the Christmas festivities. It's so beautiful here.

Blizzard

Here is the four of us. We drove the Jeep up Cottonwood Canyon to play in the good snow. It was SOOO cold. And eventually the snow started coming down so fast that we thought we better get out of there before we got stuck. Even with 4wheel drive there were no guarentees that we'd make it out if it got too deep.

Brick Oven

Here is Jeremy and his best friend Brent at the Brick Oven in Provo Utah. The food here is soooo tasty. Jeremy and I ate here with my roomate Janae and his friend Kristin a few weeks ago. She told Jeremy that the next girl he dated had to have her approval, so naturally I was a little nervous to meet her. Luckily we clicked right away, and afterwards she told Jeremy that she thought we should get married. haha. Kristin and Jeremy have been friends since the first time he lived in Utah, they lived in the same apartment complex. She's dating Brent. She's actually moving out to Tennessee this weekend to be with him...the plan is to get married in the summer. So he flew in on Thanksgiving day. It's been fun the four of us hanging out. It's charming seeing Jeremy around his friends. Usually it's just the two of us hanging out, so company has been a blast. I'm excited for when we're all living in Tennessee and hanging out all the time.

Thanksgiving

Today was the first time that my dad had met Jeremy. I was soooo nervous because we're already engaged. I drove up to my aunt Lynette's house earlier than Jeremy to help set up the table and hang out with my dad. He flew up to meet Jeremy, and my aunt did the whole family dinner so that everyone could meet Jeremy. (Thanks Aunt Lynette!) Jeremy got there a few hours later, but had to leave before dinner started to go pick up Brent from the airport. And he dropped him off at Kristin's house then he came back to eat and hang out with the gang.

Fortunetly my dad really liked him, he told me that he couldn't have picked out someone better for me if he had to chose himself. That was so wonderful to hear, because I'm a daddy's girl so his opinion is extremly important to me.

Dinner was wonderful. And I'm so relieved to have the "meeting" over with.

Oh also my dad gave me a wedding band. No one knows who it belonged to, but my grandma left it for me in her will. It's beautiful, it's old and tarnished, but beautiful nonetheless. I can't wait till we get it sized and redipped in white gold.

Tennessee

Last weekend Jeremy and I flew out to Tennessee to look for apartments. We can't afford two places so we're moving our wedding up to January instead of June. That way we can just get one place. We found a place at the Landings. It's just down the street from Jeremy's school and about 15 minutes to the mall where he'll be working. It's a cute 2 bedroom townhouse. We'll each have our own parking spots right in front. We'll have a guest room too, so we expect visitors! This is us at the Steak n' Shake with Brent. The service and food was awful. Afterwards we went and saw the Grudge...that movie was so scary!

80's Night

I honestly don't know exactly what we were doing. But here we are hanging out with my roomate Janae. We were having and 80's dance session or something. These pictures crack me up though.
