Fall Photo Shoot...

So, this is the latest pictures of the kids. My sister-in-law Missy and I took them out and got some really cute pictures. That Brady, he is such a turkey. I think I took at least 50 of him and there is only 2 normal ones. He is so full of personality and it shows. I think those are my favorites though.

McKenna, seriously she can't take a bad picture. Some are more cheesy than others, but she has been 'trained' well..This is so her. She is kinda in a tomboy phase. I have NO idea where that came from, I don't think I ever even thought about having a tomboy phase.

Such a cheese ball. He cracks me up. I kept saying, Brady open your eyes, didn't really work too well.

Now he is laughing because we are laughing. This is completely Brady. Such a sweetheart. He is so sensitive..it drives me crazy most of the time. I think this is my favorite. Love it.

This is Marissa to a 'T', she is so happy all of the time and loves to tease... She is such a cuddle bug, and I love that...of course it has to be her idea.

Love this one too...she didn't have too many goofy pictures. She knows that when the camera is out, it is time to pose and smile.

Such a geek.

This one is also completely Marissa. So sweet.

The Bunch! Braden was in rare form tonight and it took FOREVER to get one that he was opening his eyes, looking at the camera and not making a complete goofy face... I swear.

The Blau Family...

Jed, Chelsea, Coltin, Marcus, Me, Marissa, McKenna, Mom, Teresa, Dad, Jeff, Breezy and Brady.. Whew!! That is all of us for now and probably for the next year or two at least...

So this is the latest Blau Family picture, really it is the first in like 9 years. Insane. It was very impromptu, we were at my mom's house right before Jed was leaving for SLC to board a plane to North Carolina before he deployed about a week later. That explains the soccer outfits and sweats. You know, at least we were able to get one before he left...

Since it is nearly impossible to wrap up the last 9 + years in one blog, I am not even going to try. But, here are some of my favorite pictures...

A little about what is going on now and has been over the last few months...

*Both Jeff and Jed were married this last summer. Jeff married his longtime girlfriend Breezy on June 2, 2007. It was beautiful and a lot of fun.

Jed married his girlfriend on September 5, 2007. Their crazy is that they were married on Jed's two week leave from the Marines before he shipped to Camp Falujah (sp?), in Iraq on September 15.

**We remodeled our kitchen this summer. What a pain but SOO wonderful. It started with a little painting, then I was just going to strip and refinish the cabinets, but that was fun for about 4 seconds...so we thought that we would price things out and tada!! New kitchen. It was such a mess, and I never thought that I would ever be that sick of eating out. I think the kids were too and that is amazing right there... I am just so glad that is is done! I absolutely love the after though....will have to take and post pics.

*FLAMING GORGE!! That is were we can be found EVERY weekend through the summer. Although, we did go to Bear Lake on Labor Day and that was a blast. I love the lake, I love boating and believe it or not, I can WAKEBOARD! I am not the most graceful wakeboarder and I completely freak out if I start to go over the wake, but I am getting there. All the kids love the lake and boat as well, we will anchor and they will swim and play for hours.

**Harley Ride Anyone? We were lucky enough to be able to go on a Harley ride for Marcus' work, I know, tough job, getting paid to ride a Harley. We went August 22-26th and it was amazing. When we had the bullet bike, I never really did distance, just date night and that kind of thing. On the Harley's we rode through Colorado...Loveland, Independence Pass, spent the night in Steamboat Springs, Aspen and Winterpark. It was amazing. It did rain on the first day, and that wasn't so much fun, but after that, it was GREAT! And all paid for, you can't beat that!

*Bon Jovi! We also went to Cheyenne for Frontier Days. We got to see Bon Jovi, hello! He is wonderful. We went with Marcus' boss and his wife, Mike and Niki. Loved it. It was, amazingly, Marcus' first concert EVER!! The next day we went to the rodeo...if you know Marcus at all, you would know that is no small accomplishment... we loved it! Those 8 seconds have to be the longest EVER!!

**Really, that about sums up the summer....at least all of the exciting parts.

And I have a MySpace account why?...

Because it was the cool thing to do, and I can keep tabs on my brothers and sisters-in-law ha ha!! But I do have a good story for starting one....

We were in New Mexico for Easter, visiting our friends Randy and Jodie and their kids: Lane, Skyler and Jordin....well, Randy's little sister, Chelsea, had just broken up with her boyfriend two weeks before prom.. We have all been there, at that point what is more important than PROM???? I suggested that my totally sweet brother Jed take her. He is just that kind of guy that would do that. Randy thought that it would be a great idea, he knew Jed through work and Marcus...

We called Chelsea. Of course, she wanted to know what he looked like, so we HAD to get a MySpace account so I could get Jed's info to give to her so she could check him out...(Then, WHAT IF someone stumbled onto it and there was nothing there? That would be LAME, so I had Jed do-da it and that is why I have one...)

The best part is that Jed and Chelsea met, went to prom and were married about 6 months later on September 5, 2007. How is that for a story....

So when I got my friends' Alissa and Aubrie's I thought I would try.... So check often, would love to stay in touch!
