First Dress Up!

Zoe helped Lydia dress up from her dress up box. I can't believe she is big enough to wear Zoe's dress-up things, and Zoe is too big for most of them now!

Tough Stuff!

Lydia has "graduated" to the Toddler room at her school. She is getting to be so big! She is tough too - she beats on her sister and is very determined. The day I took this picture (about a month ago in California), she literally tried to walk up the slide like she saw her sister do at least 20 times in a row - falling down each time but she would not give up. That perseverance is really going to pay off some day.

Crazy times

Things have been completely insane between travel for work, Christmas, getting a new job, vacation, and traveling for work. Lydia is a complete terror -she is in full toddler mode, and quite the mad scientist. We had a really nice, kind of quiet Christmas. In December my boss was promoted and I interviewed to take her job - I am really excited about this new challenge!

The best part about the past few weeks was our time at Marriott's Newport Coast resort - we did nothing but lounge on the beach for 6 days - heaven!

I had a great time traveling to DC - hard to leave the kids, but that town is so excited - it is hard not to catch the enthusiasm. I was there because that is where the headquarters of our national organization is (I was elected to a position earlier this year).

I definitely look forward to a more normal routine!

Ready for the hunt!

This picture is so cute - I laugh a little because the deer hunt is so big in Utah and with Liddy all decked out in orange I joke she is ready for the hunt (even though no one even remotely close to us hunts...).

Christmas tree

We put up our Christmas tree and Zoe had the best time helping to choose it! We made gingerbread animals and put them in ribboned cellophane bags this year - Liddy is a grabby-grabkins and tends to destroy anything in her path...
