Happy Anniversary

Mike and I have been married 13 years today. I love you sweetheart! Thank you for your love and for being such a great husband. Happy Anniversary.

My family

Doesn't everyone look so happy to be here. Sigh. It has been two years since I got a family picture I really like. I guess I will try again in a few months.

The Washington Crew

My brother who actually lives in Washington's family. THe kids weren't too happy to be there. WE had fun anyways. These were taken in the town of Roslyn WA. Very cool little town.

The Lone single guy

Whom I love dearly. He didn't particularly want his picture taken but loves his mother and was a good sport about it. I love his sense of humor to. We have pics of him frolicking through the field. He cracks me up.

The couples

Families with children and single men to come tomorrow! These are the newlyweds. Both married within the last year.

Aren't we cute? This was done with a tripod timer and photoshop. I loved this park next to the Seattle temple. So very gorgeous!

Today is my dad's birthday. I am so grateful he is my dad. I hope his birthday is full of joy!

Wedding Phoenix Open House

Devin and Katrina's Open house was Saturday night at the Grovers building. We tented the gym. It looked cool in the low light but it was a ton of work. The food was great and my friend Audra came and helped. We were so grateful for the extra pair of hands. My kids manned the sign in/ gift table and cleared tables. They took the responsibilities very seriously and did a great job! We had two slide shows going, one of them as they each grew up and one of my pictures from the wedding. Devin and Katrina stayed at our house in our guest room. We loved having them here, they are welcome anytime! Her family helped us a ton. My brother has great in laws. My kids have fallen in love with her siblings. More about our visit with them Sunday later! I still have to upload those pictures.

Wedding reception

The reception was held at a club house in a beautiful neighborhood. Everything was lovely and the food was fantastic. I like this girl- daisies, dark chocolate and dancing. Girl after my own heart!

Everyone had a great time dancing! Mike and I even danced but no record of it. We did though I promise! I stayed to help clean up while Mike took the kids back to the hotel to get them in bed. It was a great night and a wonderful celebration. I am so grateful for the wonderful woman who agreed to marry my brother. He did well.

More wedding pictures- luncheon

The luncheon was a the Embassy Suites by the temple. It had a beautiful waterfall and nice area to eat in. My mom and I came up with the idea for the favors and my sister in laws and I executed them. I think they turned out nice. We had a great time celebrating my brothers wedding.

a brief interruption in the wedding photos!

I had a hair appointment today. I thought I wanted to grow my hair out and had been working on that assumption the last four months or so (my hair grows really fast- ask my hairdresser) But the heat and time to style got to me. I loved the longer hair when I took lots of time on it but day to day it was okay. But too hot! So off it went. Think hair last year. Can't do quite as many things with it but it is cute and easy to do. And a little sassy.
