10 and 01

It amazes me to think that I am now the very proud parent of a ten year old son and a one year old daughter! For all those who really know me, this means new pictures! YAY! I love new pictures! I love documenting time passing, it goes by so quickly! Maybe I am hoping these photos may be able to slow things done some. I know it unfortunately can not, but these memories at least are now frozen in time! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Maya did not want to eat the cake, but she thought it made an awesome drum!
I made the cake and the hat for her photos. It was a lot of work, but fun too!

Thomas' Pine Wood Derby

Thomas' Pine Wood Derby for Cub Scouts was last night. He was awarded the " Most Adventurous Car"! It may have something to do with the fact that it is shaped like an alligator! He did not take first place over all like last year. He did however place first or second in every heat he was in! He had lots of fun! He also led everyone in the pledge of allegiance before the races began. He is growing up so fast!

Happy Mother's Day!

I wanted to take some photos of the kids together. Mostly formal and some not so formal. I have two beautiful children and could not be happier this Mother's Day! Happy Mothers Day to all the other mothers I know!

Pink Easter Bunny...YUM

The Easter Bunny (My Mom) bought Maya a pink Easter bunny this year. It was made of white chocolate, so it was ok for her to eat. All the Easter Bunny wanted were pictures while she enjoyed it. Thank you Easter bunny and here are your pics. Hope you enjoy them as much as she loved her bunny!

It's GREAT to be EIGHT months!

Maya turned 8 months on the fifth of this month! The time is flying by!! She is talking (jabbering) up a storm. She can say hi, dada, and baby clearly. She is trying out the idea of crawling. She can get up on her hands and knees and rock. Sometimes there is backwards movement, but she went forward twice the other day. She loves to eat, bounce in her Jumperoo, play with her brother, and watch Mommy blow bubbles! She learns new things every day and has a wonderful disposition!

Thomas' Cabbage

Thomas came home the other day with an interesting school assignment. He brought a cabbage home. He is to record the cabbage as it grows and take the results, and hopefully the cabbage, back to school with him in the fall. We will see if the plant survives, but it is doing well so far.

Bathing Blue-eyed Beauty

Maya loves her bath time! She has her very own rubber ducky. She gets very upset when she has to come out! Today I decided to have some fun of my own with Maya's hair while I was shampooing it.

Pancakes and Toejam

Maya had her first pancakes this week. To say it was messy would be a huge understatement, but she had fun! She especially liked wiping them on her toes before she ate them. She ended up having a bath before and after eating them! I finally got an awesome photo with her teeth in it too!

Beary Cute Kids...

Thank you Uncle Kevin, Aunt Adrienne, and Ethan for the awesome bear coveralls. They are so soft, warm, and look so cute on Maya! Thomas said she was Beary cute!

Working with Daddy

I love this photo! Jared and Maya look like they are hard at work on the computer. I can just hear her saying, "No Dad. Move it over here."

Where has the time gone?

I am having a difficult time believing Maya is six months old already! Maya is growing and changing everyday. She is sitting by herself, eating jarred food, using a sipper cup, rolling over, and she sings herself to sleep! She truly has been a wonderful blessing in our family! Thomas loves being her big brother. Those who know me well, also know it is time for more Little Grins photos. We love Little Grins! They had 57 good photos for us to choose from. I would recommend them anytime!
