 We had our annual trip with Steven's family to Disneyland!  The cousins had a blast hanging out together (and of course us adults as well).  We love Disneyland and we LOVE going with all of our family so much.  Thank you for a great trip!

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. This morning the kiddos found some hidden eggs outside.

The traditional 4 bigger eggs were found. These are the ones that contain something about Jesus and the real meaning of Easter. Each egg is numbered 1-4 so we open them in order. This year I added something new. I got a picture that corresponded with what was in each egg. But to add a twist I covered the pictures with paper and put one word on them. The word was the clue to which egg it went with. The different words were: moon, parents, Godhead and oceans. So, moon was #1, parents was #2, Godhead was #3, and oceans was #4. Naomi figured it out really quickly! I will have to think of

something harder next time. We had a great talk about Jesus' suffering for us and crucifixion and of course resurrection. I know that Jesus lives and that He loves me and my family and all of us!

Silvericious

We LOVE Birthday parties at our home! Mazie had a Silvericious Party based on the book by Victoria Kann.

The girlies first made valentines and tried red hots.

Then they had an Easter egg hunt and

had jelly beans.

Followed by opening a Christmas present filled with candy canes and princess tiaras!

At the end of the story and party they laid on pillows while I read to them and then found a "silvericious" surprise under their pillow. A silver chocolate!

Our family came over for dinner and more fun.

Happy Birthday Mazie

Mazie Ruth is six!

Mazie used to always say, "I am not cute I am gorgeous." Today in Kindergarten while she was in front of the class someone said she was pretty and Mazie announced that she was "gorgeous!"

I am glad she knows that and that she is smart and one of the kindest girls ever!

She had a good time celebrating her birthday at school and at home with her family. She got a new bike from Grandma and Grandpa Clyde. She was so excited! We love you girlie.
