HIP HIP HOORAY! WE'RE MOVED IN!

I am so excited, we are finally moved into our new house. I love living in what seems like a new house on the inside, although the outside still needs alot of work. We remodeled everything on the main level plus the stairs, hallway, and Kennadee's room upstairs. It was alot of hard work but it is well worth it.
This was the old family room, we took out part of a wall to open the living and dinning room up a bit, this really helped to make a better great-room.

We shrunk our front room about 4 feet to make a bigger, better master closet which I love ALOT! I actually have more space than I do clothes, guess I can go out and buy some more, right!!!
Troy put our closet in, and gave us a cute shelf in the front room, he did a great job.
This is the new room we did upstairs for Kennadee, it was alot of fun to paint and decorate.

I so love my new kitchen, with new cabinents, appliances, flooring, lights, etc...... I am addicted to cleaning, I constantly want to mop and vaccume.

We took out part of a wall to make a more open bathroom, got a new tub and marble surround, new vanity and marble top.
I will soon be having a tupperware party and everyone is invited to come and see the new and improved house. We were so blessed to have so much help from family, thanks everyone for your many hours of hard work and sweat, we really really really appreciate ya'll.

Oh, I love these kids!

Kennadee is such a cutie, she absolutely loves to help me fold and put away laundry. She will fold all of hers and Hunter's clothes and put them all away. She gets upset if I fold any of her clothes or help them away. How did I get so lucky, little does she know, laundry is not a fun game we are playing, we are going chores, hopefully she dosen't figure that out for a long time!
This is not my idea of a good-nights sleep. However, I do think that there is nothing more cute than sleeping, peaceful children, they are like little angel's. This is not a good habit to form, letting your children fall asleep in your in bed, after one night they think it's their permanent way of going to bed.

Quirks!

-I have a bad habit of picking scabs, my face, my nose, etc.. sick i know! I think it's a bored or nervous habbit. Yes, I know it only makes my face look worse but still I continue to pick it, it absolutely drives my husband crazy, especially when I make myself bleed.

-I can't stand a messy house, toys should be played with in the toy room, shoes and clothes should always be put in the closet it they are not being worn, dirty dishes should always go straight to the dishwasher etc.. however, I hate to clean my shower, dust, clean baseboards, clean blinds, wash windows etc.... you know all the deep cleaning(sounds contradicting, I know).

-I am what some people would say a terrible or scary driver. I constantly have to go at least 10 mph over the speed limit, Troy would say I tailgate, my mother and some others often hold tight to the door handle or whatever they can grab. I do tend to my children in the backseat alot while driving and maybe talking on my cell phone or eating maybe both! I can't drive behind people even if they are doing an okay speed I have to go around them. Yes, I have had over 10 speeding tickets, and my license revoked twice. You would think I would learn considering it's dangerous and high car insurance sucks!

-I tend to shop a lot! I always give my mom crap for buying to much but I see myself following her pattern. I start buying for the next season about 3 months early so by the time it gets here I have about 3 times too much stuff and usually try to give some of it away because I usually have my 10 favorites anyway so the other 20 new items just sit there. I buy things in multiples(at least until I can decide what I want to keep) 3 colors of curtains for the bedrooms, 3 sets of sheets for the new bedspreads, 2 different bedspreads, 3 shower curtains, 3 different colors of bath rugs, 4 or 5 different colors of bath towels etc.. please don't repeat this to Troy, I have a lot of returns to make very soon.

-I don't do laundry like your suppose to. Instead of groups like whites, lights, darks, jeans, towels etc... it just all goes together, except clothes that are really dirty like Troy's work clothes or anything new that hasn't been washed. Then it sits in the clean hamper until there is about 5 loads before I fold and put them away, so I usually put a load in a day but only fold about once a week(I hate to fold and put away laundry like I hate to unload the diswasher).

- I do not like to store or hold onto stuff. I would sometimes rather throw away and re-buy later then to have to store some things. I constantly go through my kids toys and throw away some of the old stuff, or if it's missing pieces-garbage! I wish I was better at saving things like stuff Kennadee brings home from pre-school or the $20 toys we buy at the circus that I should keep for the memory sake, but I feel like I want to get rid of the clutter.

Oh, I can't wait to move!

Although we are very greatful for how blessed we have been to be able to live here at Grandpa's for the past 4 years, we are so ready to move! I can't wait to live in a two bathroom house, and to have a bathroom without carptet.
Also, we will no longer need to put our treadmill and inversion table in our living room. And we get to upgrade from wood-paneling to sheet rock with a nice tan paint. I did love the fireplace though we never used it.
I will not miss the yellow appliances, the green countertops, or the kitchen carpet.
This is kennadee's room. Yes, I know it's very blue, but trust me there will be some pink to offset it very soon.
I will be so glad to have a master room without slidding doors into it(yes, it was an add-on) it also has a door to go outside in the master bedroom, it also has a very, very small closet, all of my clothes had to go in the kids bedroom since all of their clothes fit inside a dresser. Yes, I know my house is a mess, I am so tired of working all day on the new house and then coming home to clean the old one, how does it get so dirty, we are never home anymore!
This is our master bedroom, not overly large but it has an awsome walk-in closet!
I won't miss the pink and the blue carpet or the 70's wallpaper. Im so excited to have new carpet that is clean with no stains(hopefully it stays that way for a little while.)

Hunter's room. Again, we have loved being able to live here for the last few years but we are so excited for the new house. However the outside was not much of an upgrade, we are going from yellow to peach(the color of fry sauce, the whole town calls it the fry sauce house. Believe me, we are going change that as soon as possible(our money keeps running out going towards the inside)! Hopefully we get to move here soon in the next week or so and I will post more of the new house!
